Apartamentos Lux Santiago

Four skylights but no windows should have been included in the apartment description. Very low ceilings along much of the apartment should have been included in the description.

Theres no reception desk at the apartments so need to collect the key at a diffetent location about a mile from the apartments.

Close to university. It’s a pain if you are with a family because you need to check in somewhere else then go to property. There is no AC. Apartment was nice. Do not get top floor. A frame. Will hit your head.

Torn between a 2 and a 3 but because I’m on holiday giving a 3. Reasons for a 2: BE WARNED THAT YOU CANNOT CHECK INTO THE ACTUAL LOCATION. You have to go elsewhere, almost a mile away. This is not communicated in the App. It is in the fine print of an email they send you that they tell you to ignore and use the App. You cannot stand up in 50% of the apartment unless you’re under 4 feet tall. This is a bare bones apartment. They tell you there is a coffee maker and a tea kettle; there are not. Unless you count the ancient coffee percolater which is unusable. There are no decorations, no paintings or photos on the wall, no charm. No side tables, no coffee tables, no shelves. There is plenty of room and the space is not used efficiently. The dishes are dirty. There is a panini maker which is crusted with food. There is a washing machine but no detergent. There is a dishwasher and one soap pod. There are no placemats, kitchen towels, or napkins. Reasons for rating a 3: there is a lot of room and plenty of towels,. The bed and couch are comfortable. Location is also good - on the border of the downtown city center.For the amount I paid, I expected more.

It was great for us but we had bikes. Had to check in one place and back track to the apartment.

A good place to stay in Santiago. Nice area (supermarkets, restaurants). Close to the tourist sights. Beware of low ceilings in the loft apartment. The apartment was a little light on some things : 3 coathangers (rectified when we asked), no tea towel for drying up, no chopping board, no products to clean the stove top or kitchen. Excellent having a washing machine (no drying rack) and the dishwasher was useful too.

The apartment is about 20minutes walk from the old town of Santiago. There is no air conditioning and no fans provided. Despite it being nicely furnished, it was an uncomfortable place to stay during the Galician summer. We were woken by an alarm early one morning. It took us some time to realise it was the fire alarm in our building. The alarm is loudest in the stairwell and barely audible in the apartment. We also discovered that it is not linked to the Lux Hotel who manage the building. We phoned the hotel to tell them of the alarm. It took 20minutes for someone to come and see if the building was safe. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody purely because there is no evacuation plan in place in the event of a fire, the alarm is inaudible, no alternative exits, fire escapes etc. The appartment is in the attic of the building, on the fourth floor. Luckily we experienced a false alarm. Hopefully the Lux hotel and apartments will review their current fire safety arrangements

Nice compact apartment in a nice location. Some very nice restaurants & cafés nearby. Fifteen minute walk from centre.

We loved staying here and will definitely do it again! Everything in Santiago de Compostela is pretty much walking distance and the apartment was a great home away from home with a kitchen, huge bathroom, washing machine and gorgeous skylights!

Comfortable apartment at a reasonable price a few minutes walk outside the old city. You have to check in at an Hotel 20 minutes away and when the keys card didn't work I had to phone the hotel but they were helpful.The 4th floor apartments do not have an elevator so you need to walk up from 3rd floor.

The parking was a nightmare so do your research before you go but once we had our heads round that we had a great time. Apartment was great although getting good he key was a bit of a faff. Well positioned for everything.

Very nice, luminous apartment with space for a family.

Al llegar al alojamiento nos comunicaron que debiamos estar alojados en edificios distintos en calles separadas a pocos minutos por un problema de goteras. Al llegar a uno de los apartamentos la ducha desbordaba agua por el sumidero atascado. Llamamos para ponerle solución, nos ofrecieron otra habitacion a la cual no podiamos acceder y en compensacion desayuno gratuito. El estado de los apartamentos no es muy deluxe la verdad, encontramos cucarachas en el rellano del piso y la limpieza es justita

El apartamento está muy bien, limpio, bonito, buen ubicado, muy agradable. La conexión a internet es muy mala, y aunque el baño es amplio, la regadera está muy chica. Fuera de esos dos detalles, bastante bien el lugar.

A notre arrivée, appel a la reception, tres mauvaise qualité de communication nous comprenons quen ous devons nous rendre à l hôtel pour récupérer les clés, pas tres loin mais apres 7h de voiture, fastidieux.. pas de possibilité de se garer donc une personne récupère les clefs et l autre tourne en voiture dans le quartier... tras mauvaise insonorisation côté rue avec pas de chance des travaux de nuit dans la rue sous les fenêtres. L appartement est fonctionnel mais mériterait un coup de peinture.

Apartamento muy limpio y completamente amueblado. Relativamente cerca del centro de la ciudad.

El apartamento está buen equipado y limpio en una zona tranquila. Aparcamiento cercano por dos euros diarios. Buena atención en la recepción del hotel donde se recogen las llaves, y muchas indicaciones útiles.

Excellent rapport qualité prix pour un appartement situé à 15mn à pied de la cathédrale de Santiago, je recommande. Nius aurions pu y loger a 5 car les lits sont doubles separables
