Caleta Garden

Staff were great and rooms were very clean. Food was fine and there seemed to always be enough even if one had to wait a few minutes for things to be replenished. Downside was that overall the rooms and public areas were very tired and in need of complete refurbishment/replacement. Sunbathing areas not sufficient for numbers of guests, a large number of sun loungers need replacing, very few (like none!) outdoor areas available for non-smokers which meant one had to walk through crowds of smokers constantly.

Stayed here 3 times years ago and the hotel is in need of an upgrade. It was clean and the food was better than we expected. The location is excellent. Close to the airport so no waiting around on transfers just jump in a taxi.

This is possibly one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in , checked into room 141 and was disgusted with the smell and black damp on the ceiling and wall , no light coming in, when you open the patio door you was faced with a brick wall We complained so was moved to room 130 , which was just as bad , dark and unclean , couldn’t get a lounger around the pool as they was Queing up at 8:30am We was just appalled at the state of the hotel so we decided to check out and book some where nice and clean !

Enjoyable time in a nice apartment. Right in the middle of things. Cant fault the place.

Kind and helpful staff, excelent location near shops, bars, beach. Good variety of AI beverages and very good food with thematic dinner. The room a bit older but for that money great choice. The unique negative animation.

Stay was fine a bit noisy as in the main resort across from karaoke bars and night club. It it 2star so done expect any more it is value for money not luxury.

I’ve stayed here at least 20 times but this time it wasn’t good there wasn’t enough staff in the dining room always running out of cups and cutlery the food wasn’t good ate out in the evenings even though I’d paid all inclusive

The hotel is basic but good value for money. Cheap and cheerful , clean enough , good staff & in a good location.

It was reasonably clean and spacious. The lobby/reception area was open, light and spacious, the reception staff were friendly. The hotel was noisy. There was a black bag of rubbish in one of the corridors for the whole 24 hours we were there. There was a kitchenette with microwave and sink but hardly any kitchen ware. The furniture was old and worn. The location (i.e. the town) was downbeat, tired and tacky. We would never stay there again.

Great value clean and extremely pleasant staff

The pool when you can get to it property needs a good uplift it’s such a nice hotel it’s a shame it needs a refit and food needs different varieties instead of having jam in one pot need separate little small jams and yoghurt’s Need more staff to clean tables tables were extremely full with dirty plates and cutlery nowhere to sit unless you cleaned it yourself

Stayed here for a week all inclusive.e mailed the hotel to ask for a high floor in a quiet part of the hotel and thats what we got but had to wait till 3.00.the food was good .the beer was good.the location was great right in the middle of the resort.this is a 2 star hotel no 3 4 or5 star please remember this and the money you have paid.overall had a very good week and would recomend you give it a try.great weather as well.

The food served for the dinner/lunch didn't really have a lot of variety. It felt like you were eating the same thing every day.

Food and staff absolutely excellent. Beyond expectations. Accomodation we had could do with an update which is happening to some rooms but bed comfy. Fabulous stay but too noisy for evening entertainment including guests that a hotel can never take the blame for. Went out elsewhere every evening as too loud. Swimming pool excellent and hotel always felt very clean although dated and shabby .

The hotel was well situated. The interior of the hotel was very dated and basic. But you get what you pay for

The room we were given on arrival was near pool but very dark and dismal, we had one night but were moved to the 3rd floor which was excellent. Near to beach, restaurants and bars.

Very basic, the food is quite frankly poor - there is no real quality, inedible for parts. It's a shame as the location is great - easy access to the rest of Caleta de Fuste. It is also very noisy - at least, in the road-facing apartment we stayed in, with music often lasting until 5/5.30am from nearby bars. Disappointing to say the least, but not entirely their fault.

Excellent value for money food very good

We had a one bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor with a large balcony facing north (getting late afternoon sun) which was away from main roads and the noisy pool area. Apartment really basic but very clean. Wasn’t overly keen on everyday food in restaurant, but meats cooked 'show cooking' style were good; overall for what we paid the All Inclusive was worth it for unlimited e.g. San Miguel, G&T, Guacamole Cocktails and Irish Cream. Special mention for the lovely Valentine's events laid on by the hotel which made our brief stay here really special. Only gripes were evening queues at the bar but the staff were fantastically efficient. Also some of the noise from adjacent karaoke bars from across the street. Nonetheless these are not directly a problem with the hotel. All staff in this hotel are cheerful and friendly but other than the bar queues after dinner and noise from midnight til 3am we enjoyed our stay and would come back again soon. As it's excellent value for money and a good central location, I would stay again for a cheap short break but no longer than 2 or 3 nights before a change of scenery to somewhere else.
