Reasonable accommodation for a reasonable price.

The bathroom wasn't part of the room, it was across the corridor sealed with a padlock, there was no indication of this at booking. The beds were clean but small. The room was very small with no space for personal items,(luggage/no bedside table etc.). No convenient power points. No AC. Generally tired décor. There was a fridge, microwave and crockery which may be useful for some guests. I had only booked one night and was very glad to leave the next day.

It was basic, but served it's purpose as a Stopover as you travel around the island. If your looking for peace and a quiet place to chill this area is ideal. A couple of days maximum to see all it has to offer. Hostel is close to the bus for transport but can be difficult to book in an get access to your room. It's cheap and you get what you pay for. No food facilities but you have a fridge and a microwave in your room. A small balcony and there is several cafes and a supermercado within walking distance of the hostal. Quiet an secluded it did its purpose. To be honest if it was in a city it would be perfect and probably twice the price. The small pool is a nice touch where you can cool down after a day in the sun. Overall I would rate the place 7/10. Would stay again if in the area. If your looking for

The room was quite old but clean tidy and comfortable good enough for what we payed. And in a good location

The balcony was nice and the area but it was very dirty and we only had one fan for two rooms. The shower was mouldy too.

Amazing stay

Great staff the wee woman across at js Hotel were more than welcoming and friendly helped me with anything I needed and the wee cleaning lady thru the week was amazing.

It was a Hostal without AC, there was no trash can, completely unclean, no cleaning service (we never have received any new towels and the room didn't got cleaned), the shower always filled up with water and floted the bathroom, street parkings was always full so we could not park around the hostal, the reception was kind of rude and uncooperativ,, further we needed to pay extra for using the safe box, there were thousands of mosquitos in our room and the room was way hotter than outside even though we openend the windows every time. In the beginning we didn't even have a fan (even though it was listed on expedia) and after several complainmemts we have received a broken fan and a big plastic bag to put our trash. (There was a heater in the room but definately you dont need that when it's 36°C....) Even the WiFi did not work (it always said "IP adress not found") I really don't understand how they treat customers and got a few acceptabal comments.... In conclusion, if you want to book this place then do not expect any hostal/hotel standards. I suggest to pay a little more and get a better place for your stay in Mallorca!

The staff were second to none.Very pleasant and helpful.We felt the hotel could do with a bit of upgrading but nothing serious.Would not hesitate to go there again.

Great value for money. Spotlessly clean. Perfectly located for time either at the Portocolom Port (and surrounding restaurants etc), or a 5min walk to the main beach at Cala Marcal (fabulous snorkeling!). The hostel is simple and functional, but spotlessly clean, I am pretty sure my double bed had a memory foam mattress. Handy little fridge I used for plenty of drinks, fruit and snacks during my stay. Small but perfectly functional bathroom with a shower (better water pressure than my flat at home!), and a balcony view over the pool, and a little of the port. Delicious and simple breakfast daily if cold meats and cheese, melon and other fruit, cereals, breads and bacon / hard boiled eggs plus juices, coffee, etc. Highly recommended for the price, and Paula was lovely, friendly and unendingly helpful.

We decided to stay on the east coast and hostal San Francisco was a good choice as we could explore beautiful beaches by car in a few minutes from the hostal. The swimming pool was nice and clean with a good view of the sunset. The room was clean, it was a nice size room with a little balcony and a living room with a microwave and a frigobar. Although we knew the rooms don't have AC I think this is something people that go to Mallorca in the summer should value... It is very hot at night, temperatures in 24 degrees at 2 am! However, we use the fan and it was ok for us because we are used to hot weather. (we're Brazilians). Breakfast was okay, nothing special. Staff was great, super friendly! I'll definitely recommend the place.

Leider war das Bad in keinem guten Zustand, sowie Handtücher werden nur jeden zweiten Tag gewechselt. Ebenfalls war kein Fernseher vorhanden.

Das Zimmer hat keine Klima es war brutal warm in dem Zimmer das man nicht schlafen kann und der Ventilator der im Zimmer ist kann man absolut vergessen von dem geht kein Wind aus man kann den genauso gut ausgeschalten lassen

Für ein Hostel gut Alles etwas in die Jahre gekommen, hat sich im Interieur einen gewisses Charme bewahrt. Für die Durchreise auf jeden Fall ok. Sauber, ggute Betten und ruhig.

l arrivee un peu difficile, pas d acceuil sur place, on a demandé aux personnes qui nettoyaient les lieux et ils nous ont indiqué qu'il fallait s inscrire à l hotél (qui leur appartenait) de l'autre coté de la rue, aucun probleme par la suite, personnel plus qu"aimable, changement de serviettes de bain tous les 2 jours un séjour parfait

Odeur nauséabonde dans la salle de bain et chaleur trop importante également. Manque évident d'aération !

Passez votre chemin, à la limite de l'insalubrité. Une odeur de cigarette incrustée dans les draps et oreillers.

Für den Preis eine schöne, gemütliche Unterkunft. Sehr gutes Frühstück im 4*Sternehotel nebenan. Zimmer wurde 3x die Woche gereinigt :)
