My new husband and I celebrated our honeymoon at Hotel Boutique Elvira Plaza and we couldn’t have been happier with the service, friendly staff and beautiful rooms! They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and were super helpful with recommendations on restaurants as well as calling our taxi to the airport. The room was beautiful and very clean and quiet. Already planning our next trip back!

We enjoyed this room. It was very conveniently located to the Alcázar and the cathedral as well as restaurants and shopping. The room was clean and staff was very helpful! It is located in a courtyard so you cannot be dropped off at your door (you have to walk a little bit to an accessible street…not a problem for us but maybe for some). The air conditioning unit in our room emitted a very musty smell that we could not tolerate and do had to leave it off. Not a big deal since we visited in November but it would be a big deal in a different month!

Lovely hotel,staff were lovely and a glass of bubbles was a very nice welcome.
Great location in a little square with orange trees all around and a fountain in the middle.

Check in receptionist was very engaging and friendly, felt very welcome. The breakfast was a little disappointing if I'm being honest; however the big win was the central location within the historic quarter of the city. Great value and we would definitely recommend for a friend keen to visit Seville.

The Elvira is a boutique hotel in a GREAT location and the staff is very friendly. One of the reasons it’s not a five star is due to the check in process. When we arrived, the young man at the desk said it was his first day and he needed to call his manager from the sister hotel. The mgr came and spoke to him and left. We were not offered a complementary drink on arrival although it was displayed on the counter. The young man had to keep calling the manager to come back and our check in took well over an hour with us filling out a tremendous amount of paperwork. This young man was very kind and we were patient but we felt the manager should have checked us in with his new employee and not just leave him on his own with his first client.

Brilliant location in the Santa Cruz quarter and lots of bars and restaurants nearby - as well as the major tourist attractions. Rating is slightly lower as there was no hot water for the first night of our stay - which wasn't their fault - but also a slight smell in the room we had. We think it may have come from the bathroom, but unsure. The room itself was lovely and modern and comfy and the staff at reception were excellent. We spoke with a few different people who were so helpful and friendly.

Me and my partner discovered 30 bugs in the room on the first night and immediately went to the front desk to ask for another room/refund. We were told they were sold out for the night and to come back in the morning. Since it was 1 AM, we had no choice but to stay in the room. The next morning we were told there were still no rooms. We had asked the receptionist to tell the manager to contact us and she had told us we would receive a call. We did not receive any calls and had to actually follow up each day of our stay. It was very inconvenient and communication was lacking. Finally, the manager reached out and gave us the bad excuse that they would not be able to provide any sort of solution/compensation because they had apparently come to the room to check out the bug situation during the day but the do not disturb sign was on. They did not even try contacting us when they so called had come to the room. Additionally, the manger said that the "biodiversity of the environment" can cause bugs in the room. The bugs decreased in amount through the stay but the lack of communication and lack of solution from management is unacceptable. I would not recommend this property.

The service was appallingly bad. We asked for early check in when we booked the room over 2 months before our stay and again the week before to which the hotel responded advising that they would try to accommodate this. Upon arrival the staff had no clue about early check in and we were told it would be 3pm as standard. We left our luggage and returned just after 3pm to be told the room wasnt ready and we had to wait. We left for a drink and when we returned it STILL wasnt ready. At this point we had seen 2 other couples check in, offered a glass of fizz and given their room key, we were not offered anything.
Our room was dirty when we got the key with the floor evidently not clean.
During our stay we did not get clean towels, our room was not cleaned one day despite leaving the please clean our room sign on the door, we did not get replacement coffee and milk, no loo roll.
When asking the staff for these things they had no interest in helping.
Shame as its a lovey little hotel in a very cute square but the staff seriously let this place down.

Good location, and friendly staff. You have to check in at a nearby sister hotel which is a bit confusing but not the end of the world.
The room itself was disappointing. The bed felt like it was about to break, wobbly legs which squeaked and wobbled every time we moved overnight.
The patio door wasn’t lockable so we didn’t feel very safe. Also there wasn’t a soap dish so the cleaning staff obviously felt compelled to change the bar of soap daily- which seemed like a bit of a waste.

This was the worst hotel I had ever stayed. It smelled moldy and disgusting. Extremely small and the staff so loud at night.
