Three nights here on my own felt less like an escape and more like a quiet reset. The balcony views stretch wide and forgiving, the poolside hums with a rhythm that makes you forget the clock, and the staff move with that easy island grace that says, “no rush, you’re here now.” Breakfast is unpretentious—coffee that wakes you up, eggs that mean business, fruit that reminds you why it grew here. At night, the bar comes alive with travelers from everywhere, bonded by sunburns, laughter, and cheap rum poured with generosity. Step outside, and the pulsing heart of Playa de las Américas reminds you that solitude and chaos can share the same street. This isn’t a five-star sanctuary. It’s better than that—it’s real. KN Columbus doesn’t try to impress; it invites you to let go. Sometimes, that’s all you need.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay. Check in was so simple and room was ready early. Staff are so friendly and helpful, felt very safe as a solo traveler . Very comfortable beds. Lots of choice food and drink. Despite it being extremely busy, I never heard and noise at night. So many beds and areas for relaxing and sunbathing. Would recommend and will be returning.

Ideal for older people cooking facilities means you can make whatever you like
