Fantastic castle attached to the Parador. Very hot inside hotel and there are no windows to open in the great room. Also there is no outside space to sit, it’s all taken up by the restaurant.

Breakfast service did not open until 7:30am which for me was too late due to an early flight. El castillo was closed in the afternoon so we could not visit. The website clearly displayed it was open for those hours. The person at the check in said it was closed due to the hoy weather. They should have updated the hours on the website. The only reason for us to be there was to visit el Castillo. People were smoking next to us and when I complained the person at the front desk told us they could not do anything about it. Smoking was not allowed in the hotel. PDinner was very pleasant and the rooms were clean. The small village was very nice.

I knew from the pictures, when selecting the hotel that this would be an out-of-the-ordinary stay, but what an incredible hotel this is. From the approach up through the town through to the view from the windows of our room, it was just wonderful. The room itself was spacious and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was well laid out, and had a separate toilet. We had snacks and coffees in the cafeteria, and appreciated the friendly and efficient service, and also had evening coffees in our room. Parking is easy, and the car is inside the walls in the courtyard, so it feels like a safe place to leave it. We really enjoyed the visit to the hotel and the town, and highly recommend it as a place to stay.
