BREAK BCN was the perfect hostel for our 4 nights in Barcelona. It was walkable to everything and everywhere we wanted to go! 10-15 minutes to downtown, 40 minutes to the beach. The room was small and cool and comfortable. I liked the private bathrooms too

The place is basic as it says on the description but the people are lovely, the breakfast is amazing and the location is superb. The room was very clean and we actually slept really well! I would stay there again no problem

Este hostal no se lo recommend o a nadie num
1- desde Que llegamos a la direccion donde esta Uvicado no lo encontraba no tiene ninguna señal con el nombre del hostal
2- al encontrarlo subimos y el señor Que nos recibio Que se llama OSCAR muy mal educado por cierto no nos atendio en su reception no dijo pasen por aca para la cocina bueno nos sentamos y le dije tenemos una reservation ok
Y comenzo a explications las reglas del hostal primeramente Que no hay toallas gratis le dije si ya usted me habia enviado un mensaje pues yo las traje eso no hay problem’s despues me dijo Que no ibamos a tener aire acondicionado Entonces le dije no no no espera yo te pague para tener mi aire y ahi empezamos a molestarnos mi esposo y yo y el Señor llamado Oscar para q no se les olvide nos dijo Mira aqui el Cliente nunca Va a tener la razon por si piensan Que eso Va a pasar aqui eso no functions aqui y casi ni nos dejaba hablar y le dije sabes q voy a buscar otro hotel y nos dijo pues bajen pa ka Calle q yo tengo muchas cosas Que hacer con tremenda mala forms y le dije puedes creer q no voy a bañar nada hasta Queq lo encuentro y nos quedamos porq yo sabia q no me iba a devolver mi dinero pues decisions quedarnos pues Entonces nos dijo bueno le voy a dar la toalla gratis porq hay q rental’s y cuestan 3 euros por dia y Que iba a tener aire y un deposito de $200 y eso esta horrible y muy pequeño

Do not rent it. I would not do anything that do not accept cancelations.
Bathroom is far away from the bedroom. Checking process is a pain.

With opening French doors, But a separate bathroom down the hall, worked ok for me but the night time wee was a bit awkward. The room was clean and quiet but had a slight odour so maybe Fabric conditioner would help. Had a fridge in the room for snacks and water. Breakfast was a continental style served by Oscar who was so nice and friendly. The check in window was 2-4 and a guarantor payment needed which I don’t recall on the booking but worked ok. Would stay again as next to metro stop and nice area for walking to too

Your staff is not co operating with the peoples. For example aircondition .due to the timer used it is stoped in the mid night and it disturb our sleep.you should should show all the hidden charges before booking.

Lots of hidden fees. For a small dog I paid 100€. For all our travels it was the most expensive payment. Some hotels did not ask for an extra charge at all, some no more than 30 € for more days. But this is just terrible. The owner is rude and unfriendly. Everything is forbidden, a lot of rules. But at the same time, the condition of the hostel and cleanliness do not match. Also the owner took a 200€ deposit and didn't return it. Walks away from the answer and does not try to solve the problem. Although I am a very neat person and the room was in perfect condition. I do not recommend. For this amount in this area you can find not a dirty hostel with a bunch of extra charges, but a normal hotel with good service.

good location, bad 25 euro tax fee upon arrival . cash only??!. long check in process me login into wifi and sending pics of my passport and my kids' to some manager guy. then given wrong room. not the one i chose online. very time consumming and irritating check in proceedure. also tv non functional.

We had to re arrange our flights last minute so we cancel our booking somewhere else. We end up selecting this hotel due to its location, but we were a little bit worried as we travel with a child and pregnant wife, so some commodities are essential. We end up having a great stay.
The location is ideal, close to all atractions, walkingg distance to the storic center. The area is full of cafes and supermarkets. The bus stopo for the airport is just around the corner.
The staff is incredifly friendly and accomodating. The did everything to make our little one feel spoiled.The service at the cafe is spotless. Very warm people. The breakfast was complete and served with attention to detail by the lovely girls receiveing you every morning. They spoiled our little one everyday.
The rooms were small but complete, a little bit noisy because ours was next to the street. Nothing some earplugs cannot fix. The bathroom was outside, and we knew it, but it is kind of uncorfortable to reach in the middle of the night. They are also incredibly petit. You can barely fit there. That would be my only remark as the shower was perfect.
The kitchen is clean and confortable. We used only once, but it has nice ambience.
Overall we had a very good stay and end up being surprised by the attention of the hotel. They made it very family friendly. It was a good surprised as we had to replan all our trip at the last minute. Thank you
