Liked everything about the guest house. Good value nice and friendly staff.

Everyone was so helpful. We forgot to hand our key in at the end of our stay and staff did everything to assist! Thank you!

Stayed in the standard double room for our 2 night stay in Kandy. Wifi in restaurant was poor, only other public area was their front desk room with only 1 couch and 2 chairs, ovbiously not enough. Our room didnt come close to looking like the pictures shown. We had a really old desk fan, no ceiling fan! It was hot to say the least. Im pretty sure they put us up in the staff quarters up the back as walking around, the rooms that were part of the main building were different. Maybe those rooms are offered to tourist that walk by and are charged higher price. Bedding was clean i guess. No real positives about the room. We werent able to get train tickets to kandy however one of the staff was able to get some reserved seating ones on the day, extra 1000 rupees of course added for this service. Restaurant was decent, nothing to rave about. Front desk people barely there. Had we received a room like what we thought we had paid for, perhaps this would be a better review for them. Would not recommend this place. Theres a rooftop bar in the hotel across the street

Very friendly and helpful. No WiFi in my room only in public areas but that was fine. Good breakfast didn’t eat there in the evening. Good quiet location. Would recommend for the price good cake for money.

Located up the hill off the main lake road, the location is quiet but easily accesible. My room was spacious and extremely clean. The bedding was in good shape and after an exhausting few days of travel I slept very well. As a solo female traveller I felt safe here. There was a nice big fan and mosquito net in the room, although the latter wasn't required. The bathroom is basic, but again very clean and sufficient. The shower was decent enough and there was hot water. There is a nice terrace and small resturant serving throughout the day. I found the Sri Lankan meals better than the others - had a great vegetable curry with generous servings and delicious hoppers, dhal and sambal for breakfast. European breakfast is also on offer and isn't too bad. If you pay a few dollars more the breakfast is included with your room. The little resident squirrel shared my left over sambal. There are a number of tuk tuks and other drivers available to take tours if you're into that. I didn't use their services as all places in and around Kandy are accesible by public transport - much more fun! This is a budget hotel so you cannot expect luxury or to get additional services like food and tours for free. I found everything was as expected for the price and thought it was one of the best hotels I stayed at in Sri Lanka in this price range. I would stay again if I came back to Kandy and would recommend to others for sure.

Clean for Sri Lanka conditions, walking distance to a lot of Sightseeing spots, reasonable restaurant

Good value hotel. My room had drain smells, and I could hear traffic outside, went quiet after 11pm. I would use again, and as for different room. Staff very friendly.

The room definitely feel budget and the hotel itself is a bit of a warren with stairs going everywhere. The terrace and restaurant are comfortable and have good wifi which the room doesn't. All in all this hotel is underwhelming.

The room was overpriced--dark with lots of noise due to the way it faced the interior. None of the alternative choices were any better. The staff were very nice and helpful though.

Good bang for the buck. The staff go out of their way to be helpful. Definitely coming back for the next stay.

Nettement en dessous des commentaires formulés par les précédents voyageurs. Réveil en fanfare à 6h30 (ecole de musique à proximité ? ). Aboiements des chiens des alentours une grande partie de la nuit. Odeurs d’égouts dans la chambre à partir du soir. Indifférence du personnel.

ein sehr gute Preis/Leistung verhältnis. Sauber, einfach, freundliches Personal. Immer hilfsbereit. Eine Tolle Terrase zum entspannen.

Das Hotel liegt zentral, aber ruhig, die Zimmer sind einfach und sauber, zum Teil geräumig, die Bäder teilweise mit Schimmelbefall. Die Zimmer werden auf Wunsch jederzeit gereinigt. Restaurant und Dachterrasse sehr gemütlich, leider wurde die Aussicht vom Hotelneubau gegenüber verbaut. Der Besitzer, Malik, bietet gute,günstige Touren an. Insgesamt für den Preis eine ordentliche Unterkunft.

Mukava omistaja ja osaava vastaanottovirkailija eivät onnistuneet pelastamaan katastrofaalista kokonaisuutta. Hotelli onnistuu alittamaan riman lähes jokaisessa majoitusliikkeen toiminnan osa-alueessa. Koko fasiliteetin kunto on heikko. Huoneessa ja kylpyhuoneessa ei ollut sänkyä lukuunottamatta mikään kunnossa: viemärit rohisivat, ovet ja hyllyt olivat vinksallaan, kylpyhuoneen ovea oli lähes mahdotonta saada hakaan jne. Aamiainen oli onneton - pöydän vaatimattomat antimet olivat koko ajan lopussa, kahvi kelvotonta ja maut kaikkea muuta kuin kohdallaan (paitsi pannukakku). Huoneesta maksettu hinta on rosvousta. En ole montaa kertaa kymmenien vuosien aikana matkustellessani joutunut maksamaan vastaavaa hintaa näin huonotasoisesta majoituksesta.
