This hotel was the best location - 2 minutes from Arlanda express and 5 minutes from the central station. The palace and the old town was within walking distance and the main high street for retail stores was also 5-10 minutes walk.
Staff were really nice and friendly.
Breakfast was reasonable but range could be improved.
Room was quiet enough and definitely very eco friendly and clean.

First visit to Stockholm
So glad i chose the historic Freys hotel
Ideally located for fast link to airport on Arlanda express train
Excellent location for exploring Gamla Stan, historical attractions public transport, walks by the water. Shopping malls, restaurants and lots of little city gardens, for cooler shaded breaks.
The hotel staff were exceptionally polite and helpful. My room and facilities were clean, comfortable, quiet and safe.
My breakfast was included and it was amazing with great choice, and although no real veiws in it's side street location, it was still pleasant to be able to choose to have an outside table.
I purchased the little teddy bear (it's a nice touch that they place one in every room) as the money goes to charity 😊
I highly recommend Freys and hope to return in the future-- 5* in my opinion

Very centrally located. Reception staff were helpful with local advice. However, restaurant staff ignored me when I spilt my tea at breakfast so I had to clean it up myself. There was no instruction or communication to seat yourself at breakfast. Rooms at front of hotel are noisy at night. No air conditioning only a fan.

Rooms are a considerable size for a city centre hotel, great amenities and the restaurant attached (if you can get a booking) is well worth it!
Would recommend for a city break, ideally situated along from the station ( use the yellow airport express entrance to walk staright the hotel)

A lovely stay in a city we’ve never been. Sprung for the large balcony room which was great for our family of 4. Really enjoyed the attached restaurant for both breakfast (exceptional complimentary buffet) and dinner (dream beer list).
