Good Morning+ Göteborg City

Didn’t realise I would be sleeping on a ship. Had to book with very short notice and was very happy with the reception and room even with us checking in so late.

The concept of an old ferry repurposed into a hotel is pretty neat. It was definitely a unique experience. The only down side was that you were surrounded by construction projects that made getting anywhere on foot challenging, however this was not the fault of the hotel at all. The staff were very friendly and helpful. And the included breakfast buffet had lots of variety. The view from our room was amazing after sunset.

A fun idea to stay on a boat, but the room was too small for 2 people. If one person stretched out, the other person got an elbow to the eye! Staff were friendly but the room barely had space for the bed. One other quirk is the boat and it's entry point creak and rattle like a kid practising the kettle drum. It would be ok for a single night but if you are going to unpack for a few days, then maybe consider getting a proper room somewhere

Staff is polite, breakfast is excellent, staying was in calm environment.

The family lived that the hotel was on water. Cozy and nice. Good service. Nice breakfast

I came from UK and could not be happier with my stay. Immaculately clean, breakfast was excellent, staff were friendly and the surrounding areas was outstanding. Highly recommended

Lovely hotel, great value, rooms are small but comfortable and cosy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Close to city centre, a short walk along the waterfront.

The hotel was wonderfully unique, the rooms were very small and you could no longer fold the bunk away so felt a little claustrophobic. The rooms however were clean and serviable for a base. The breakfast was very good and they had tea and cofee and water and biscuits available all time, id have still liked a jettle in my room as it was inconvenient to get dressed to make that first cup of tea in the morning. The rooms were wamr. The hotel is about 20 minutes walk from transport links, and there are no restaurants or shops nearby if you want food or a snack, We had a lovely stay and for the price a short walk was fine. Definitely good for a cheap weekend base. Staff also very friendly and helpful.

An unusual hotel stay .. for me . A room on a ship. quite cool and comfortable actually. Bed may be small (single) for me but comfy . Staff very helpful n friendly . Breakfast spread was alright but perhaps they can introduce some novelties cos saw the (almost) same food for 3 mornings. Hahahahha is my bad . I stayed 3 nights . Is about 15 mins walk from central station . Is ok for me. or if u want , take bus from central … one stop only . It was very windy when I stayed (Jan 2025). .. so at times I really could felt a bit “swaying” but so cool

Enjoyable stay, staff were absolutely fantastic, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was top class. Room was very clean but a little on the smaller side. Would definitely return without hesitation

The place is in a very serene location.. it's really extra ordinary. Everything is perfect. Never seen such helpful staff... My stay marked a memory in my heart. Access to central station is like a 5 min walk..

Rooms were not very clean. Small and outdated. Breakfast could use some other options.

Excellent good value stay. Very friend staff. Rooms compact but fine. Breakfast decent. Would stay again without hesitation.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic, but OK. The quilts in the duvet covers were absolutely filthy. There was blood on the corners of the blanket.

It was a really fun experience to stay on a ship that’s been converted into a hotel, and you didn’t feel like you were on the water at all which I appreciated. There were some nice views from the deck and it had the perfect seating area for watching the sunset. I had a ‘city view’ room which looked over the car park, so next time I’d definitely opt for the sea view room. The room was clean and an acceptable size for me and my friend to share. The bathroom was good, but the shower cubicle felt a little cramped due to its odd shape. The hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk to the city centre, and there are scooters/bikes available to rent directly outside. I believe there were also buses stopping nearby. The staff were all incredibly welcoming and answered all our questions. They provided a safe place to keep our luggage before check-in/after check-out which was really helpful. Breakfast had a decent selection, with the buffet included in the booking. It never got too busy, but also had a good atmosphere. I’d definitely stay here again!

Very standard hotel with solid breakfast, no faults for the price.
