Hotel Bishops Arms Strängnäs

The room was spacious! Our only complaint was that the room was very warm. We had also arranged for a breakfast on our day of departure to be available as we left at 630 am. The staff they would prepare something but there was not anything

Convenient location. Comfortable beds. Little confusing about hours of operation and access. All doors locked after 10 pm & not open until after 4pm. Nice morning breakfast. Nice pub open after 4 pm. Excellent experience!

Located in the center of the city. The service and the room was great and clean, recommended.

Everything was fine except the bar / restaurant shut at 10pm (11pm on a Wednesday) but when trying to get a drink twice in the four nights there a good 5-10 minutes before closing, we were told they were already closed and would not serve us.

The hotel was clean, staff was very friendly. The surrounding areas of Strängnäs and Mariefred were beautiful! Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others traveling to the area.

Everything was closed. We got a code to come in and another code to get the key to our room. This is not a hotell, only place to sleep. When we booked there was no info that the restaurang, reception, the roof top spa that everything was closed. This was a big disappointment, money spent on nothing. Will probably use another booking site next time.

I felt that this place really over- charged for what you receive-the front desk staff on arrival were not overly friendly and you get the impression they don't really care where you're from or anything, just want your money-however the kitchen staff in the morning were friendly and the breakfast was average- the cereals and fruit were the best part, but I would stay away from the watery scrambled eggs and burnt/oily bacon. On my first night I took a shower and no-one told me that if the pressure is too high it will spill onto the floor so the whole bathroom floor was flooded and I had to use my 1 towel to mop it. Also the heating was inadequate even when you turned the radiator right up, I had to wear 2 layers of thermal clothes and socks and they said you could ask for an extra blanket as the duvet was really thin but i got the impression that they would charge you for that the temperature was between 6-9 most days. Also they don't warn you that the walls are really thin and that you hear every noise ( doors shutting, talking, footsteps- which made the floor vibrate) the person in the room next to you makes as well as your bed head board is directly behind theirs so every time each of you moves in the bed it is felt through the wall by the other person,I had to move my bed away from the wall and use ear plugs to get sleep, which helped a bit but didn't get more than 4 hours sleep a night, I just think that charging high prices for this is unjustified,wouldn't stay again

Rummet vi hade i tredje våningen kan behöva renovering. Gamla möbler. Sofforna är slitna. Fanns bara en rullgardin så rummet var ganska ljus tidigt på morgonen. Vi upplevde att rummet var varmt, med tanke på att det är fortfarande vår och det är 19 grader ute så kan det nog bli riktigt varmt på sommaren.

Jättebra läge och en väldigt trevlig kille som checkade in oss och sedan serverade oss i restaurangen. Hotellet har väl sett sina bästa dagar, rätt slitet och lite ofräscht. Men helt ok att bo där en natt. Läget är ju jättebra och skönt att bara kunna gå ner och äta direkt på Bishops, där maten var jättebra.

Ukompetent personale dårlig oplevelse ved indcheckning. Meget slidt Hotel Morgen mad under alt kritik Der var flere ting hvor fadet var tomt Kolde æg lille udvalg Kedeligt

Gammalt och slitet Hotel. Hotellet stängt när vi kom, öppnade 16:00 vilket gjorde att vi fick släpa runt på väskor medans vi besökte Strängnäs. Det borde varit information att det var helt stängt.1 person i Incheckning som också skötte baren. Vilket skapade lång kö.

Trångt , litet rum

Plus: Bra frukost, bra läslampor, bra läge, bra dusch Minus: Sen incheckning - tidig utcheckning TV:n funkade inte, enbart kallt vatten på toaletten.

Mysigt litet enkelrum. Uppskattar att det fanns vattenkokare och te eller kaffe på rummet.

Helt ok

Bra läge i centrala Strängnäs. Bra med parkerings möjligheterna och det finns två laddstationer för elbil. Personalen var fantastiskt trevliga och hjälpsamma. Rummet vi fick har sett sina bästa dagar och bör renoveras inom en snar framtid. Frukosten var okej och hade allt du behöver men för priset man betalat för en natt (1600) så bör det vara bättre rum och bättre frukost.

Detta sjapp prissatte sig som fyrstjärnigt men var knappt trestjärnigt. Sannolikt en gammal studentlänga som Bishops Arms tagit över och klassat om till hotell. Do not recommend!

Lite slitet men rent och fint. Tyvärr badkar så lite krångligt att duscha.

Varken rummet, frukosten eller hotellets standard motsvarade priset. Bara tillhörande puben och parkeringen var bra med boendet. Gammalt, slitet och tråkig inredning. Frukosten var verkligen bara basic och en del personal hade glömt hur man ska bemöta gäster....det här var verkligen inte vad vi är vana vid när vi bor på Elite Hotell.
