Bra mat, bra rum, bra personal, finner inget negativt.

The place was cozy, the room was spacious and the staff was superfriendly. Unfortunately my room was just beneath some kind of fan or air heat pump that emitted a loud noise and very unpleasant vibrations off and on all night leading to just 1-2 hours of sleep. I’m sure there are people who are totally insensitive to this kind of noise and would enjoy this otherwise lovely room. It would be fair to inform people in advance though, not just hoping they won’t notice or tell. A shame as this hotel would merit 4 stars (apart from the breakfast that was 2+ or 3-).

Bra service under kvällen av Matilda som styrde all servering själv och löste det bra trots högt tryck under en period.

Väldigt bra! Trevligt och gemytligt, både lokaler och bemötande. Enkel och smidig in- och utcheckning. Fint och ljust rum, välstädat och fräscht. Bra frukost!

Mycket fin vistelse i samband med cykelvasan. Fantastiskt trevlig och hjälpsam personal. En grillbuffe som var magisk fin och god. Mysigt fint och välstädat rum. Jag kan verkligen rekommendera Olafsgården om ni ska till Sälenfjällen. Jag kommer åka tillbaka. Mvh Olle

The staff made the stay. Im a very frequent hotelstayer with 40 plus nights a year. Both at work and private. Very friendly staff. Helpful and polite. Rooms very spacious and nice and clean. If Id go to Salen again I would stay here 4shure.

Kvällspersonalen var exemplariska i service! Frukost/dagpersonalen var tydligt mer ointresserade utan att vara nämnvär serviceminded. Delar av frukosten tog slut, vid frågan om när det kommer mer äggröra så kom svaret "om en timme" ...vilket var efter att frukosttiden var över??. Lunch och middag var husmanskost och var helt ok om något smaklöst. Dock så var portionerna lite snåla jämfört med prisbilden och nivå. Rummet var trevligt med viss nivå av degradering som egentligen skulle kunnat vara fixat. Städningen var helt ok, men ex så var duschhuvuden så igenkalkade att det inte ens kom vatten ur hälften av strålarna.

The hotel is nice and staff are always helpful. The room size was perfect for a family. The main bed was a little old and very soft and noisy. It would be great to have at least a kettle in the room as a useful point for families.

Overall a good experience while my boyfriend and I were in the Sälen area to go cross country skiing. We stayed in a double room that had a sofa with a pull out bed in the “living room”, so it was a good size room with the toilet separate from the shower area. The shower room was pretty small and the water pressure was lacking at times but always had hot water which was good. The room was clean and comfortable; was nice to have a smart TV in the room to catch some Netflix while relaxing in the evening! Our check in experience wasn’t great, as the girl who checked us in was not very friendly and didn’t give us any information about the hotel, just took my credit card and gave us the room key. Would have been nice to be informed what time breakfast was, best place to park our car, WiFi passwords, check out times, dinner information, etc. however the service we received the rest of the trip was good including at breakfast and dinner. The breakfast each morning was pretty good, with yogurt, waffles, deli meat, and fresh bread coffee and juice. Nothing special but did the job. Would come back to stay here next time we are in Sälen!

Helpful staff. Unfortunately the breakfast stands only takes 3 persons at the time, due to covid and all the Stockholm families don't understand or follow this...

Härligt, hemtrevligt hotell med trevlig personal. Enda att säga är dyr Elbilsladdning och att frukosten inte var helt klar när den öppnade. Fick en uppgradering till ett fantastiskt rum.

Mysigt hotell men inte prisvärt för ett så lyhört rum på bottenplan.

Riktigt fint hotel. Trevligt läge med trädgård. Fint inomhus och en fantastisk personal. Ingen nämnd ingen glömd.

Trevligt och mysigt litet hotell som ligger bra till med nära till skidåkning i Lindvallen. Lite minus med alternativ på pålägg till frukosten och även kvaliteten på pålägg .Trevligt med bastu som man fick boka gratis dock så fanns det inget lås in till bastuavdelningen
