Solsta Hotell

After two days of exhaustive work reenacting at krigsflygfält 16 and Karlstad, it was such a relief getting to be at a quiet, one person room over the night. It was clean and had many amenities. The staff, rooms and service was very comforting.

Ett trevligt och rent hotell i centrala Karlstad, god frukost och hjälpsam personal. Stockholmsdusch på hotellrummet var en exotisk upplevelse :)

quite ok, valued for what paid

We had paid for a room for 2 people and we enter into a cabin size room where there is one single person bed and one roll-in foldable bed made for children. The bath room was the size of a small toilet and it could be made into a shower. The showerhead was leaking. The breakfast was lacking fruits, sandwich spreads and only had toast or prebaked rolls. we wanted to place our luggage on hotel at 1:30, but we were told in port telephone that the hotel was not manned prior to 4 pm, so we had to carry our luggage to the remote parking garage that we were forced to use.

The bed is small and the bathroom ridiculously tiny (you need to move the sink to get space to shower). Besides those issues, it's a decent place.

Only stayed at this hotel as all other hotels in Karlstad fully booked. Very central location. Basic, hostel type accommodation. Unusual showerooms! Simple breakfast, (frozen white bread for toast!). Bulbs missing in light sockets.

Stayed for 4 nights in this hotel above a shop. The experience was just OK. Not terrible but nothing to recommend either.

This hotel has its challenges. The first was to find where it was as it just occupies a whole floor in an office building above a department store and does not have its own street entrance which it shares with other businesses and possibly with residents occupying the other floors in the building. The second is that there is no adjacent street parking as it is located in a pedestrianised area. The third is the staff at reception who are clearly foreign immigrants whose command of English is not too good. The fourth is the showering facilities which are very idiosyncratic. However, if you can overcome these challenges, you can enjoy a quite spacious room with a fridge and adequate storage and a good desk space even though it may not be furnished to the highest standards. The breakfast is very adequate. The hotel is well located in relation to the town centre and the railway station. This is , on the whole, a good hotel given the price you pay.

Supernice minihotell men man kan INTE ha mjuka sängar som standard. Dessa passar bara väldigt lätta personer. Själv fick jag ont i kroppen och sov väldigt dåligt. Madrass medel är en bra kompromiss vilket jag skulle rekommendera att man byter till.

Mycket trevlig personal och service.Rummen var väldigt enkla med sängar som var allt för mjuka för min smak. Ventilationen behöver också ses över. Annars bra frukost och service för priset.

Rent og greit, enkel frokost. Bra beliggenhet.

Galet kallt i rummet på natten, minimalt badrum, ganska ofräscht generellt. Helg ok vid 500-600 kr/natt men de 896kr jag betalade var ett gigantiskt överpris.

Hissen fungerde inte helt. Fick inte igång den stannade en gång! Lite svårt att förstå hur man tog sigin men det gav sig! Ingen tvål men har ju med men kanske bra att veta! Annars utmärkt läge mitt i stan!

Enkla rum, ingen handduk och ingen tvål på badrummet så glöm inte ta med eget.
