The hotel is in a good location. We were avle to walk everywhere we wanted. The roo. Is very small which is ok, I didn't like the frosted glass wall to the bathroom, doesn't offer much privacy. The worst was the a/c, doesn't cool at all. Windows barely open. Was too hot and uncomfortable at night for sleeping.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. We had a fan in our room, and the staff came in and took the fan out while we were looking around the city, which is completely out of line. The place was gross, and the staff made me feel unsafe by coming into our room and removing our belongs after we had already checked in. I don’t recommend anyone to stay here.

This hotel is a short walk from the main HB train station. It’s surrounded by lots of restaurants , cafes and has shopping options. It’s also few minute walk from the lake. The room itself was renovated and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Staff were very caring and supportive.

The room was not what we requested. The staff claimed we asked for two children under 2 so they gave us a room with portable cots. When booking through Expedia I put the kids ages 7, 9 in so there was something off in the reservation process….
They removed the cots and gave us 1 mattress. Far from ideal but best they could do apparently.
Rest of stay was good. Breakfast included was very convenient for us.

I think I got bed bug bites from this hotel. When I was packing up to leave I noticed a brown stain on the sheet. Could have been blood or chocolate. I didn't think much of it at the time. But according to online resources "early sign of bed bugs are bloodstains on your sheets". This paired with bites appearing on my arms and legs doesn't feel like a coincidence.

Air conditioning system old and recycled warm air, no cooling. They even have a printed note in your room about it. When I turned it up the noise was like a motorbike trying to start. They know about it but just apologies and was told to open my window!
I slept on top of the duvet as the bed sheet was rough.
Breakfast was okay, no bacon or sausage etc. They offer falafel! Never seen that before…

Small but nice place, close to train station and downtown. We walked everywhere. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Much appreciated, thank you!
Breakfast was good with a wide variety of offerings. Like many places we found it did not have AC (and it was quite warm and humid when we visited). But the open window and fan helped.

I had mistakenly booked my room for the day i would be leaving rather than arriving. But the clerk changed it for me and provided a room. I was very grateful for this. However, the room was extremely small and hot even by European standards. The location was fantastic, at only 5 minute walk from the train station, but the quality of the accommodation was below what it should have been for the price.

The location was nice. The weather in Zurich was hot, in the 80's. So were the rooms. No real Air Conditioning. Hallway was slightly cooler, as was the lobby. Our friends had the same issues in their rooms. I tried to adjust it all different ways. Man at the desk said that's as good as it gets. We would take a cold shower before bedtime and in a couple hours would have a wet pillow from sweat. Cracking open the windows didn't help. Employees were nice.
