CHECK inn Taipei Songjiang

I had the supreme double room. The view was exactly as advertised of the city view except one side was facing directly an office. There isn’t much around the area but it’s right next to the MRT so it’s convenient for travel. I did notice there was some garbage underneath the bed on my second last day which makes me wonder if the room was actually thoroughly cleaned.

This hotel was very clean and a great location literally steps to the MTR. The staff was extremely friendly and I will stay here on my next trip. Many restaurants and shops are within walking distance

Pretty clean and comfy, except you can hear someone chatting from next room, or they're using shower at 5am

Second time here and I will not come back. Stains all over the carpet, no bottled water, no soap by the sink (that’s not an amenity…). If you want to sleep, forget about it, the walls are paper thin. I could actually hear my neighbors’ conversations and their bad singing. I also got a rude reminder at 10:40am that check out was at 11am.

There was no soap by the wash basin, which meant I had to bring the shower soap over each time I wanted to wash my hands—very inconvenient. More seriously, I experienced bug bites during my stay, which has me concerned there may have been bed bugs. Out of caution, I canceled my reservation for my return trip. I hope the hotel looks into it thoroughly, as this could really affect other guests.”

Very accommodating staff - requested non carpet room and they have obliged the following times I’ve asked for it. However the non carpeted rooms are only on the fourth floor. Wish they would also bring back the breakfast - it was good when it lasted. Very convenient location however the walls are very thin and you can hear your neighbors quite clearly.

This is the 3rd time I have stayed in this property. One suggestion, they should replace the carpet in the room. It's really dirty. If they will be replacing the carpet, they should select the type that doesn't really show the stain easier. They shouldn't have selected plain beige color

The room we stayed was quite comfortable. We like the bed and the pillows. However there was not enough chairs to sit and the table was rather small to put our things. We could hear door slams from the surrounding units which was quite a shock at times.

The hotel is well maintained for a smoke free property. It is just near to the XingTian Temple MRT station. What spoilt my stay was from Jan 23 to 31 2024 was some tenants were actually smoking next to my room. After my complaint, the staff switched my room from 3C to 8D. Beware those given rooms on the lower floors. Suggest that tenants sign a no smoking pledge before getting their room keys. If anyone smokes, the assigned room electricity and water supplies will be cut off as per agreement. I hope management seriously look into the matter as the Check Inn reputation will be impacted greatly if nothing is done.

711 located next door. Lots of cute coffee shops nearby. Staff very friendly able to leave our luggages there before check in and after check out

It’s a great value hotel. The rooms are smaller and my room was directly facing the office building next door so it was hard to open the blinds. The room was relatively clean with the exception of the carpet, which had many stains and looked like it hadn’t been deep cleaned or replaced in years. The breakfast buffet I included with the room was better than expected and had a decent variety. Be warned if you’re sensitive to noise. The walls are paper thin, enough to be able hear what the people in the next room are talking about. I’m referring to people talking in normal voice, not yelling. That means you can also hear everything else that going on in the rooms next to you and in the hallways including people’s private activities!! They do provide you with earplugs in the room but it’s not enough. I would recommend finding another hotel if you’re a sensitive sleeper, want more privacy and soundproof rooms.

It’s convenient place to stay, more like 2person or couple stay. Overall good & nice but breakfast need to improve. Too little selection. Could have rated 9/10 but breakfast gives it a drop, only 7.5/10 overall.

Location: Good, just next to the station exit. Food: Great breakfast offered by the hotel. Easy to look for food outside the hotel.

PROS: Location was excellent. It was next to the train station and also only 4min walking distance from the airport shuttle stop (Bus 5201). There’s a Starbucks and 7-11 right next door which was great. The size of the room is acceptable but The renovation was very stylish along with little details such as aux cable that connects to the room’s speakers and light switches on both sides of the bed (and yes it does control the desk lamp as well so you don’t have to walk out of bed to turn it off, yay!). The amenities provided were in its own branded packaging. They even provided disposable earplugs which was very thoughtful considering the street do gets noisy at times. CONS: The staff could be friendlier sometimes rather than watchIng you walk into the hotel and glaze back at the computer monitor without saying a word. It’d be great if they provide facial tissues in the room. We only had toilet papers and it wasn’t very handy at all. The water pressure coming out from the shower head is a little excessive and the streams of water weren’t concentrated which splashed everywhere other than the body when taking a shower.

super nearby with mrt station. everyday have room service. the view is nice. room is big. bed is comfort. room facilities everything have and design room look nice. BUT..sometimes i heard ppl talking beside our room. only soundproofing not so good. i give it 90/100.

Location is very good and the hotel is clean and safe. I had breakfast which was a little basic and limited.
