In general , this stay was great except people still smoking inside the room despite the smoking free sign 🙄️🙄️

This was my first time visiting Taiwan. I am an American traveler and I did not have a good grasp of Mandarin. I relied heavily on my google translate. The staff was very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to assist me in anyway. There is a daily take-away breakfast which was great to start the day. The hotel is in an excellent location surrounded by lots of restaurants, the MRT, and shops. The hotel price is reasonable for its location (near the Grand Hotel, the Hilton, and Cham Cham Hotels). Also you can walk to the night market. The only problem with the hotel is that you can only check-in 8:30p and beyond.

Service is great. Everyone is really helpful. But keep in mind that if reservation is made online, the check-in time is 8:30pm.

I had a pleasant stay at forward suites. The location is superb! The staff are friendly and helpful. From the design can tell it’s a very old hotel, but it’s still quite comfortable to stay. Breakfast included not bad as well. However, there are a few points that I would like to share. 1. Check in time is 8.30pm, if you book from hotels.com. You can still check in earlier if you are ok to pay extra. (guess it’s the hotel way of making extra bucks as they have those stay charge by hour). 2. The airport transfer stated doesn’t mean there is a free transportation to the airport. It just means they can help you call a cab, you have to pay for it. 3. The only hotel that asked me to leave the key at the counter whenever I am going out or having breakfast. Initially make me uncomfortable, but then again every hotel have a master key to access all room, so after that I am fine with it.

Hotel is located just in walking distance from fuzhong MRT station and Part of nearby star hotel, offering budget accommodation. Spacious rooms and comfortable. Entrance is but small and difficult to locate the hotel at first sight. Night market also in walkable distance and there is a convenience store next door.

The hotel seems to be a bit old and rub down the check in time for Guests booked from on Line sites was 6 pm which is very odd as it's usually 3:00 pm in most hotels and was also earlier for some other guests The rooms were clean and noise free The location was the best thing about this hotel as if was practically opposite (may be 100 meters at max) from MRT (Metro) Taxi were available 7x24 outside the hotel

Location was great as it was close to city center and 100 mtrs from the MRT station But the hotel haf a 6:00 PM check-in policy for on-line reservation such as Hotels.com which i found very strange anf discriminatory... The room had a raised floor after the entrance (after Bathroom Area) and the step was not marked so in the night i hurt my foot several times while walking back to the bed from the washroom. Breakfast eas basic and so woulf not rate it the best experience Since it was close to the Business Partner that i was visiting anf area / hotel was recommended by them else would not recommend

All the staffs is very helpful and polite. Especially Front desk name Chris. Booked 7 days here and then extended my stay to 14 days. Location is great, got everything you will need, 1min to MRT station, 10mins to nights market. Definitely will come back to stay again. 👍👍. Room 708.

I can recommend this hotel very much. Close to subway station and shopping. Great staff, very helpful, super friendly, great overall experience! Would definitely stay here again!!

last minute decision to be in town left me with limited hotel options. love the location. have stayed at the related Grand Forward and Forward Hotel but both were booked full. Forward Suites "I" and "II" were meters away from the Grand Forward. Barebones, functional rooms that were ok for sleeping but not much room for really wanting to stay there. ok bathroom and dining area. very limited breakfast offerings. One nice bonus is free laundry if you're ok with washing your clothes.

Very convenient access to public transit (across the street!) Night market a few blocks away. Overall clean hotel, and nice service. There's some cigarette smell sometimes, presumably left in the vent from when smoking was allowed.

1) The room was too hot, no action taken after complaint. 2) Breakfast quality & choices are bad,
