Something Easy Inn

This property has a lot of stairs, very unique accommodation situated within the Jiufen old street. The views were amazing from the room and of course superb location to tour the area. Clean and super convenient to have hot water directly from the tap for drinks. There’s a coffee machine at the common area, lots of free snacks, bread, buns, packet drinks as well. The staff were outstanding, 2 ladies waited for our car to arrive and led us to the accommodation, helping with our luggage as well. Amy was super detailed with the introduction to our room and the surrounding. Sweet and helpful lady, thanks a lot Amy to you and your team. I really loved the stay with Something Easy Inn!

Modern and clean. Staff is awesome and super helpful. If you have big and heavy bags you should contact hotel staff to arrange transport for you from Taipei so the driver can communicate with hotel staff to go on the ideal route and minimize the hill and or stairs for moving the belongings. The amount for the transport is equivalent to Tripool and Uber

The hotel had the perfect set up for a very enjoyable stay near Jiufen Old Street. It was like staying in a hidden four star hotel with a modern clean room, free fully stocked mini bar, great view of the ocean, and friendly staff. Very easy to get to, and so conveniently located to explore the lantern alleys at night when the tourist have all left. We were able to get the full experience of Studio Ghibli' Spirited Away thanks to this hotel.

Amazing place

Great location. Beautiful jiufen view. Loved the bathtub. Provided a lot of snacks and had different hot drinks available. Host was very friendly and helpful.

We had the most amazing and breathtaking experience in Jiufen. The highlight of our trip was our stay at Something Easy Inn. The hotel has the most incredible views — truly unforgettable. I spent hours just sipping coffee while looking out at the scenery, completely mesmerized. The location is wonderful as well, offering peace, charm, and easy access to everything Jiufen is known for. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a beautiful and relaxing stay in Jiufen.

Friendly staff, clean room, great views

Stayed here for two nights, we got a lovely welcome and tour of the property. Room had lovey views and was very peaceful. Property is very central for exploring Juifen. A small annoyance but one of the bedsides in our room didn't have a reading light. I would not recommend the restaurant near the hotel that you get a discount for staying at the hotel, this restaurant was recommended to us by the inn staff. The staff at the restaurant were extremely rude, never explained how to order, money snatched out of my hands when paying and food was disappointing. This restaurant being recommended is the reason for the inn losing one star.

Outstanding all around

Everything was amazing and perfect! Amy was running the place at the time of our stay and was very atrentive and provided excellent recommendations for food and drink. Make sure to contact the hotel prior if driving your own car - the streets are tricky! Get lost in the alley ways and have fun! One night was not enough.

It is unfortunate because the people are very nice and the place is quite beautiful. However, this hotel is not good unless you are fortunate to be in a room that maybe is not plagued by the problems I experienced. #1 - it is soooooo loud. I was in a room directly below the restaurant. It was like constant walking on top of your head, people dragging furniture, people dropping things, etc. The hotel recognizes the problem and can only apologize. It is too small of a hotel to have alternative rooms. #2 - It says it is a bed and breakfast. There is no breakfast offered. This was confirmed by the hotel. #3 - It says that the hotel has a kids recreation area. This is not true. There is absolutely nothing here for kids. I am glad that my wife child didn't arrive. All in all, the people are lovely and try to do what they can, but they are powerless as this is a problem with how the hotel is advertised, how the rooms sit under a restaurant (also owned by the same people), etc. It was a very unpleasant stay and I left before even staying a night.
