Kohhai Fantasy Resort & Spa

Loved this resort! This is a family friendly resort as well as couples or solo travelers like me. I enjoyed my stay here and would return again. All of the staff are friendly and welcoming no requests are too much for them.

The hotel is in a beautiful setting in an ideal location on this tiny island. It is really idyllic. The hotel is a little tired but the pricing reflects this. We had a very comfortable stay. The dive centre was also located here. Transfers were also easy as the drop off / collection point was at this hotel. The staff were very helpful.

Wonderful but more child friendly than couples vibes. Stay with a family but if you don’t want luxury, stay nextdoor at the Thanya

The resort is quiet, family friendly and beautiful access to the beach. The staff are all fantastic!!

The hotel is outdated and not taken care. Breakfast was very bad.

Our beachfront room, #334, had a great view. You could even look out the shower through the room to the great view. We would move our beach chairs from our patio area to the beach under a shade tree,

Resort was overall very nice. Incredible beach and beautiful grounds. Breakfast was very good with lots of different choices. We stayed in a deluxe room which said it had a partial sea view which it absolutely not true. There is only one room with a sea view and that is 101. The air conditioner is located on the front deck which makes it impossible to enjoy the deck because of the heat and noise coming from the air conditioner. When I inquired about the view at the front desk They blamed it on the site that I booked on. 🤔 Overall this is a beautiful resort. I would definitely stay here again but definitely not in a deluxe room. See attached photos of view and beach. 🇨🇦For

Excellent restaurant, on the beach. Wifi was slow. Excellent beach for walking.

We had a great 3 nights stay & were lucky to have the tides just right for swimming most of the day. We stayed in a superior double with a partial sea view, which was in fact a full sea view. Room 101, however these rooms do need a bit of renovation & repositioning of the airconditioner motors as they are on the veranda & noisy. The grounds are really well maintained as is the swimming pool area, but there are areas that need some maintenance. Breakfast buffet was O.K., but not very interesting. Same Same everyday. Plenty to eat, but a bit mundane. The restaurant menu is pretty extensive with both western & Thai kitchens. The curries were really good & an average price. We had cocktails @ Happy Hour for 180baht (normal price 200baht) not a brilliant deal & they weren't 'loaded' with alcohol either!! They need to get this right. Staff are really friendly & there are various areas to eat & drink which is great for varying weather conditions. Looking at all the options on Koh Ngai we believe we made the right choice for position & value for money & would choose Fantasy again if we were to go back to Ngai

A basic resort that is dated but charming. The views are amazing. The food is great if not a bit pricy. The sea is stunning when not wavey. The staff could clean the beach directly in front of the hotel to clear debris and bits of rubbish.

Resort is managed very well. All the staff working to have nice clean area outdoor and indoor too. Waiter can speak english OK (not usual in Thailand´s islands). Helpful receptionist. Beautiful beach, cleaned every day. We can compare with another hotel in Ko Lanta and Ko Mook in similar price - this is absolutely the best, one level upper.

Enjoyed our short stay at Koh Hai fantasy resort. The resort in general could use some updates, but it was still good. Not much going on on the island other than the resorts, so glad we only spent two nights. One of the best beaches we went to! Water was super clear. Restaurant was good and had lots of choices, which was nice since we ate there most of the time. Would return for the beach!

Dirty, no service, no Wi-Fi, Expencive for Thailand.

When we first arrived we were so excited as the boat pulled in...and although the rooms were a little dated , we were steps from the gorgeous beach. We had a problem with our air con leaking everywhere but we were moved and they offered us dry cleaning services for any wet clothes. They were super kind and although I think this resort has aged we would def come back without a doubt ....also the snorkelling was amazing x Also there were quite a few children but it didn't bother us....one point if your a business guy that needs Internet this isn't the place for you .

Be careful when booking transfers with this hotel the information given to us was incorrect and we got stuck on three boats and two vans just to get back to Phuket when we asked we were told of two straight forward stops we made it to Phuket 10 hrs later don't book here ! To the lovely lady working in the hotel thank you for your friendliness

Great location, simple hotelrooms, go for the family room, the hotell rom is very simple small basic even thouhg rated as superior or de luxe. Staff very good and serviceminded, great food. Great location, idyllic, perfect with kids, great snorkling
