Marine Chaweng Beach Resort

The deck chairs are getting very tired & a few beach umbrellas would be a asset.This was our second stay & will stay again but would like to see guests Not encouraging stray dogs to hang around the property.

Such lovely staff and very friendly!! We had a fabulous time only thing missing was a pool. Food was amazing and nicely priced! We had a lovely two weeks here and would defo return.

Not a very nice back road to walk along to get to the hotel. Rooms and bar/restaurant are old and in need of refurbishment. Good location on the beach, quiet to get to sleep etc. Staff were accommodating and approachable.

Dirty rooms and very uncomfortable beds. I ended up moving to different hotels during my stay. Lots of better options in the area

the stay here was amazing, the staff were so helpful and really made you feel at home, the only issue was that the rooms were a bit old and outdated but it wasn’t an issue seeing as we got it for a great price ! also in the heart of chaweng and the beach right on your doorstep, great stay here and food is also lovely

Visted Marine Hotel for 3 nights with my girlfriend. Check in was fast and the staff were very accommodating to all our requests. We stayed in a deluxe room which had recently been renovated and was very nice. Only ate at the restaurant once but breakfast (off the menu) was tasty. Location was great, right on the beach, no street noise and only about 5 minutes walking to the centre of Chaweng beach. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking great value accommodation.

The resort is really nice, I definitely would stay there again! The rooms aren't the greatest and need maintenance but the service and general feel was really good! The one thing that was not cool was that when I ordered through them a taxi the day before for my flight, I had to wait like 15 minutes for the taxi and ended up looking in a rush for a taxi on the streets.

I have been to Koh Samui in the past and knew that this was the location I wanted to stay. Marine was very affordable, had great food, and the location was perfect for what I was looking for. Will definitely stay again.

Staff was really friendly and helpful!! Breakfast was great and the hotel is located close to Chaweng town so you can walk everywhere. I definitely will stay there again!!!

Location next to the beach was great, the rooms were very basic. Massage on the beach was nice (300BHT for an hour). Really nice restaurants a short walk along the beach.

friendly and helpful resort staff , good and fresh food at the restaurant because the owner catching the seafood by himself , price of food is reasonable , resort cleaniness is only modurate , the facilities should up grade .

Location is good, right on the beach. But no good road to hotel - "last mile" is terrible. Check in wasn't respective, I got very old room looks like 1-star hole. Told to receptionist about pictures on Expedia site, she asked 1000 baht for upgrade but I show to her pictires from expedia email and got other room for free. Room was the same as pictired but has dirty curtain and old blood sign on the blanket cover.

Excellent accommodation right on the beach - relatively good value for money. We were lucky and got our room upgraded from superior to deluxe. The room was spacious and modern. Not sure what superior room would have been like. I think I would have been disappointed if we had a smaller room for the price we were paying. Staff were very friendly and helpful and organised tours and transport for us. One day boat tour to marine park was extremely expensive for what we got - 2000 baht per person plus an additional 400 baht per person for entry in to marine park that wasn't mentioned when we booked. It was a good tour but we did a similar tour in Koh Tao for 500 baht per person - much better value. Koh Samui was much more expensive than Koh Tao, Chaing Mai and Pai - tourist prices!

we booked three double fan rooms for a 4 night stay with friends over the New Year period. When we arrived we were told there there were not three fan rooms available so one couple could have an air con room for the same price but then move the following day. The fan rooms we were offered were pretty grim. Myself and my husband are travelling the world so we are used to this standard of accommodation but our friends were not! They ended up paying to upgrade to deluxe rooms which were what we thought we were getting as per the photos. We also had to upgrade as there were lots of Mosquitos in the rooms so we needed air con. The beds were quite hard. Aside from this the staff were lovely and the place is right on the beach. The food served in the restaurant was lovely. Do yourself a favour and book a deluxe bungalow if you staying here (as our friends did in the end) and I'm sure you won't have any complaints.

The staff are so friendly and tell you about deals on upgrades that day if you want to and we upgraded to a superior. Lovely big room. You are right on the beach which is great and it's the qiuet end but you can still walk to the busy clubs about a 10 min walk.

It was a lovely welcome from the staff at marine bungalows. the beach was so close it was lovely, and everything you may need is just around the corner. The rooms were quite spacious and clean with very good wifi.

Nice A/C room 20 secs from beach clean and tidy with good tv,reception a little dated & not on the best part of chaweng beach,but overall not too bad..

Very quite, you can relax. Lots of restaurants on the beach very romantic, you can find nice beach party's too. Hotel worth the money what you pay.

Located at the beginning of the Chewang Beach road walk/road tourist strip. Great location for the price and rooms were very reasonable. I probably would recommend getting the A/C room over the Fan rooms as it is very warm at nights. No need for transport as close to everything, however if you would like to get around hire a motor bike or car. Overall the position is great, price is very reasonable for July off peak and lovely place to visit. I determinately will return soon.
