The hotel is very good. The swimming pool is beautiful. There are two pools. The view of the pool above is also beautiful. The room is good, spacious, comfortable, lots of plugs in every corner of the room. Very impressed. If I have a chance, I will definitely come back. I love it.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The first room we received was quite damp, but we were given a dehumidifier and were able to change rooms the next morning. Breakfast was extensive and the facilities were well kept. Staff were all amazing, especially Nook who took the time to help us!

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Panan Resort, and I would not recommend it to anyone. There were several issues during my stay that made it feel like the resort was poorly managed and in need of serious improvement.
Cleanliness:
The cleanliness was by far the biggest problem. Our Cliff View room was not properly cleaned—there was dust on surfaces, stains on the carpet, and a musty smell that lingered the entire stay. The bathroom was equally neglected, with grime in the corners of the shower and old, dirty towels. The pool area was also in bad shape, with debris in the water, cracked tiles, and worn-out, uncomfortable lounge chairs. It was clear that the resort wasn’t being properly maintained.
Staff Service and Communication:
The service was shockingly bad. A major issue was the lack of English-speaking staff, which led to constant miscommunication. Every request, whether at the restaurant or reception, took multiple attempts to clarify. Simple orders at the restaurant were often wrong, and staff seemed uninterested or unable to help. The lack of basic communication skills resulted in a frustrating and unpleasant experience. Even when we tried to address issues at reception, the staff seemed disorganized, unprofessional, and unable to provide any real assistance.
Property Condition:
The overall condition of the property was poor. The Cliff View room was outdated, with old furniture and a general sense of neglect. The pool area looked like

This was our third time at this hotel. We like it a lot. This time we brought our extended family. It’s still lovely. The pool area is beautiful and the breakfasts have improved a lot since our last stay. But there are a couple of things about which I was a little disappointed and surprised. I do think we may have been a little unlucky this time. Firstly we were told we would have to change rooms on the second day to get the pool view room we had already paid for. And my wife stressed about that the whole first 24 hours and couldn’t relax. Secondly we didn’t get room cleaned on the third day despite setting the light on for it to be done all day. We got back to the room after a trip to Railay and nothing had been done. Towels not changed, no fill of shower gel, no toilet paper and beds not made though that last bit is not a biggy. I hope it’s not a taste of things to come because we would like to return again.

Nice hotel, it caters for everyone all nationalities which is good to see, comfy beds & close to amenities. However the rooftop bar which is lovely played very explicit music from 5pm which considering it’s a family hotel & for all nationalities was very disappointing swearing & sexual context & using the N word which felt a bit out of place I did ask the bar man ( who was great) if he knew what was being played but he didn’t really understand & was just playing the playlist of music that was on the system, I would suggest management should look at the playlist as this is very offensive & may loose them customers.

Awesome staff including but not limited to Nicky, Man & Catt (bartender). The entire facility is so beautifully designed & maintained. The room with terrace, pools, bars, restaurant (especially breakfast) are amazing. I’d be happy to return to Panan!

L’hôtel est très bien placé, proche de la plage, très belles piscines, très bon petit déjeuner et belle chambre avec vu sur mer et sur les falaises. L’hôtel a tout pour être au top. Cependant, il y a un gros défaut, qui est déjà signalé dans les précédents commentaires : notre chambre (dans le bâtiment numéro 2) était très humide. Le sol est humide, les draps sont humides, les vêtements sèchent mal dans la chambre, et tous nos vêtements dans nos valises sont devenus moites, et il y a une odeur d’humidité dans la chambre. C’est vraiment dommage et cela relève de la conception du bâtiment et n’est pas la faute du personnel. Je n’ai pas demandé à changer de chambre, je n’y suis resté que 3 nuits. Par contre je n’aurais certainement pas fait une semaine complète dans cette chambre. Je l’ai signalé à la réception de l’hôtel lors du Check out, mais ça ne les a pas perturbé plus que ça…
