I’m a backpacker and have stayed in many budget hotels, but this is by far the worst one I’ve ever experienced during my travels. Cheap doesn’t have to mean dirty, there are plenty of budget hotels that are extremely clean. When a hotel is clean, it automatically feels comfortable. Here, the toilet smelled of sewage, the flush didn’t work, the toilet bowl was filthy, and the lights were on a 5 seconds sensor timer. The floor was grimy, the linens had holes and stains, and the fridge was dirty and smelly. The room being small wasn’t a problem, but the unbearable stench throughout made it impossible to stay. I booked for two nights but only stayed for one because I couldn’t stand it. When I returned the keys and told them I was checking out, the staff didn’t even ask why. Honestly, I suspect they gave us a staff room instead of a proper guest room. They didn’t even provide towels. Don’t trust the photos you see online, they look nothing like the reality. Honestly, this place shouldn’t even be called a hotel. At best, it’s a rundown hostel or a dodgy motel.
