Hotel was very centrally located and I felt safe in the neighborhood. I was a 10 min walk from Old Town and about 20 min from a nice Beach area (beach area was over 5km long). There were lots of restaurants and shopping right out the front door. They also had 2 ATM machines literally in the front wall of the hotel building. The taxi stand was 1 block away.
The room and the hotel was clean. Don’t even bother with the weight room-it was a joke. They really should put some weightlifting machines in there. There was a couple of treadmills and an exercise bike.
The Turkish breakfast was amazing!! There is literally about 7 tables of food, although not any kind of familiar “American food” (except for bread and fruit). It was quite a sight to behold and it stayed very well stocked. Personally, it wasn’t the type of food I would eat at breakfast, but it was beautifully prepared and displayed! A lot of work goes into that!!
