The staff at the site are friendly. The temple is very well-maintained and clean. The guide leader explains the details in great detail. Once at the top of the temple, the cleaning staff can help you take photos and recommend the best spots. Overall, it's worth the ticket price and the experience. The ticket can be exchanged for handcrafted sandals, a goody bag, and a 250ml bottle of mineral water upon ascending the temple.

Borobudur is so beautiful... Keep Borobudur Temple clean and safe to increase tourist interest. I only bought a ticket for the platform and took lots of photos in the courtyard. The price was on sale, and it was cheap.

My second time at Borobudur Temple, after a long time. I was pleasantly surprised by the current appearance. From ticket exchange, buggy rides to the location, restrooms, and souvenir center, everything was very comfortable. I brought my two children, an 8-year-old and a 3-year-old, and they were very excited because the place is kid-friendly and has stroller access.

Overall, it's safe. However, the shuttle service on the way home is limited and the free shuttle is quite far. It's a shame for the elderly. There's a nearby shuttle that only costs 20,000 Rupiah per person. It's quite acceptable for a group.

The temple is in excellent condition. The service is excellent, and the environment is clean. However, there are no signposts on the way from Yogyakarta to Borobudur Temple. So, for those not from the area, it can be quite difficult to find the way. Directional signs only appear after less than a kilometer to the temple, making it a bit challenging. Perhaps the local government should make things easier for tourists by providing clear directions so they don't get lost, as Google Maps can be confusing.

Open-time tickets to Borobudur were not accepted by staff because they required a designated visit time, rendering the promotion useless. In the end, I bought them at the ticket counter, as the price was the same.
