Borobudur is now better than before. It's more organized, especially in the MSME section. The temple area and grounds are clean and well-maintained. Online ticket purchases are also easier, eliminating queues. Hopefully, we can visit again someday. Thank you.

Easy redemption and no waiting.

It's been four years since I returned, and I've seen so many changes. Now, electric cars are delivered to the parking lot, and seniors and children are also delivered upstairs without the need to climb stairs. On the way home, they're also delivered directly to the parking lot. Truly the best.

The service was all friendly and helpful, but I'd recommend that on the way back, the walk to the shelter is quite long, over a kilometer. Please provide a closer route, I feel sorry for the elderly.

Walking in Borobudur in the night, very special experience. The guide is very knowledgeable and patient.

Even paying three times the usual price for a climb is well worth it. Depending on the weather, you can even take sunrise photos like those in guidebooks using your smartphone. Ideally, it's best to arrive at the Manohara Convention Center a little before 4:00 AM (I arrived between 3:45 AM and 3:50 AM). Groups are formed on a first-come, first-served basis, and those who check in first go up first. Depending on the guide, some groups climb quickly with only a brief explanation, while others, like my group, take their time with a thorough explanation (a large Chinese group that arrived later went up first…). Around 4:30-4:40 AM, names will be called and group assembly will begin, so observe what's happening around you and listen carefully.

Beautiful sites to visit, guide and staff are very helpful.

It's beautiful and huge, a must-see, but the time was a bit limited, only about an hour and a half, allowing us to see only the highlights that the guide showed us.

I bought my ticket using the app, entered the app room (which was air-conditioned, mostly occupied by foreigners). Then I was told to exit and use another lane. It was the same exit, just through. The officer in the air-conditioned room was a male and unfriendly. I was really disappointed by the discrimination against locals and foreigners. I didn't think this was only in Bali, but it turns out I can experience this in Yogyakarta too now. I was disappointed. But yeah, Borobudur Temple is cleaner now because it's quieter, and the price is probably quite expensive.

Borobudur is a must-see destination for history and culture lovers. Visiting this temple is truly memorable, especially during the sunrise tour. The magnificent structure, with 504 Buddha statues and 2,672 relief panels, provides a profound insight into ancient Javanese civilization. Facilities such as local guides, rest areas, and restrooms are also adequate. One note: limiting the number of visitors to the main stupa makes for a more comfortable experience and preserves its natural beauty.

The ticketing process was very easy and fast, the information was clear, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the return shuttle was far from the exit, even though we were already exhausted.
