It is a nice place to visit, especially before sunset. It is easy to redeem the ticket.

We arrived around 2:30 PM, and the journey took about an hour. We returned around 5:00 PM/6:00 PM to wait for the sunset, as the view was beautiful.

Ratu Boko Palace, a beautiful place, beautiful, cool, very quiet, plus drinking coconut milk under the shady trees. An unforgettable experience. We booked a through ticket to Prambanan Temple and Ratu Boko Palace, because there is a shuttle bus from Prambanan to Ratu Boko. It turned out that the shuttle bus was only available if you booked directly on the spot, not online. This was a mess and very disappointing. In the end, I went there by motorbike, it was quite far and quite a climb to get there. If you take the train, then see the mountains near Brambanan station/before the airport, that's where Ratu Boko is. It's quite far and uphill, but it's really nice and once again, use sunscreen because it's incredibly hot.

Purchase tickets through the app for quick entry without waiting in line. Redeeming meal coupons is also easy.

My first time visiting Ratu Boko Temple in the afternoon, I was able to catch the sunset. It was breathtaking.

This is really good! I came here in the afternoon, but they said it's better to come here in the afternoon. The place is spacious, but I don't think you can get close to the temple base.

For those who want to go to Ratu Boko, it's better to buy a through ticket directly on the spot (buy an offline ticket at Prambanan Temple), because the direct ticket includes a shuttle to Ratu Boko. If you buy online, you have to bring your own vehicle to Ratu Boko, and using GoCar or Grab is difficult to find, especially if you're heading from Ratu Boko back to Prambanan.

The place is comfortable and very clean. The ticket exchange process is very easy, no queues required, just walk in. The staff at the entrance are a bit unfriendly, though, so please improve. The bathrooms are clean and okay.

I was happy and satisfied to finally be able to visit Ratu Boko Palace. I love this place. This was my first visit in 10 years.
