The Hoi An show was excellent. Knowing a little about Hoi An's history and origins will enhance your enjoyment.
There were subtitles on both sides of the stage: Vietnamese and English on the left, and Chinese and Korean on the right.
One minor concern was that many people left early at the end to avoid the crowds. I would have preferred to linger and enjoy the moment more.
Also, photography is prohibited during the show, and you will be warned if you conspicuously take pictures.
The content itself was the same as two years ago, but the staging had changed, and this year's was better. (I watched the two-year-old version online.)
