Exchanging tickets is easy; when you arrive, there are staff waiting, and you just need to state your name to receive your ticket.

The information in the ticket didn't quite match. It says we should redeem the ticket in a different location from the theatre, but with my ticket category (VIP), that shouldn't be needed. The show was okay. You need a different package for audio translation.

If you book the ticket directly in the theater less than 1 day ahead, you have to be ready to not get a ticket. Use the app. Pick the one with the earphone translate option.

The staff were very attentive and dedicated. The performance was excellent, combining puppetry, zither, sound effects, and folk music. Booking tickets online meant no queuing or waiting; just arrive 10 minutes early. It was extremely popular, so tickets sold out quickly if you bought them in person.

Unfortunately, Therme was not a “skip the line,” and the personnel were not very helpful. But the show was great!

You need to wait until 10 minutes before the show starts to redeem the voucher. Luckily, they already assigned the seat number, so not a left over seat. The audio was not a translation kinda, it’s only a narrative audio play. Well, on my opinion, no need to pay audio since it will only give you information about what it showed. Other than that, the story is not a well-structured story from beginning-climax-ending. It’s only a puppet show which consist of a lot of story about Vietnamese customs, and each stage will might only stays for 2-3 minutes each. It’s just nice to have if you have already in Ha Noi, but won’t be the ‘must to watch’ during your visit in Ha Noi.

Received a call from this ticket agency that the tickets had been sold out for the slot that we have booked, so we have accepted one of the earliest available timing . But when we have reached the ticketing office to collect physical ticket as mentioned in instruction, nobody was available as the shop was not open yet. So we called the same contact which we had received call earlier for ticket update, but the person was at the ticket counter @ puppet theatre. So we walk over to theatre directly to collect our ticket. Then roam over old quarter for shopping and lunch then came back for the show. It’s bit hard if you have booked any same day ticket & especially have other plans apart from that slot. Luckily she has contacted us to pass tickets for another slot. So Traveloka to confirm the current availability before make it as an available slot for booking.

The show’s really incredible, this is exactly the experience you can get in Hanoi. Rich in culture and history! Will be back one day.

Let’s be clear: there is absolutely no real queue-skipping here. All you get is a chaotic crowd piling up at the stairs, and you must have a physical ticket in hand at least 20 minutes before the show just to fight your way through. The ticket redemption system is a joke — the staff showed up only 5 minutes before the show (even though I was told the minimum is 20 minutes). And the only actual queue you’ll stand in is the Traveloka redemption line. Honestly, it feels ridiculous to pay for a ‘skip-the-queue’ benefit only to end up queueing anyway. That said, the show itself is great, and the VIP ticket does get you closer to the stage. Bottom line, buy directly from ticket booth (security guys recommended) or Klook (they had physical person waiting there whole day for you)

I advice everyone to book via online booking, because the tickets easily sold out on the spot. Don’t worry, it is easy to redeem on the counter. Another tip if you want to watch the show is adding audio translation, because this show is in vietnamese. I found myself enjoy watching the show, while others looks bored. After all, I highly recommend to watch the show in Hanoi.

Unfortunately, there was a change in schedule from the party there, actually the show was okay, but because it was in Vietnamese, I didn't understand the storyline, overall it was okay...

The show was lovely, but it's being narrated in Vietnamese! But you have the option to get a translated audio! I particularly loved the live Vietnamese instruments and orchestra
