It's quite a fun place to visit, with lots of cool photo spots. However, when we went there, the underground well was closed, so it felt like something was missing.

Very nice and has a great story that kids can learn. Only suggestion to put more information so we can slowly enjoy the ambiance. The local guide was great, they were very knowledgeable.

Ticket exchange is easy, and the ride is perfect for a morning visit. Besides learning about history, there are plenty of aesthetic photo spots. There's also a tour guide (additional fee) who helps explain the ride and capture the moment.

We initially didn't want to use a tour guide, so we just wanted to go on our own. Then, as soon as we arrived, we took some photos, and the gentlemen on duty helped us take them, and the results were amazing. The tour guide charged us 100,000 Rupiah, so we asked for a fair price from the start. He explained the route in detail, and took the best photos for us as souvenirs. If it weren't for the gentleman, we would have ended up in a local's house.

A wrong barcode scan confused the tickets for the Keraton and Taman Sari. The Taman Sari barcode was used at the Yogyakarta Palace. It was high season and there were a lot of people, so the process took a while and there were waiting times, and the queue was already getting long. The small ticket booth was only big enough for one person. Luckily, my cousin bought two tickets, so they weren't wasted. There are no official tour guides for local tourists. Tip: Ticket prices increase for local tourists, but for every twenty-five tourists, one tour guide is provided. Tour guides earn income and the tourist attractions are more organized. In addition, local tourists gain knowledge about Taman Sari.

There are two lanes for ticket exchange, so you don't have to wait long. The place is clean and the staff is friendly.
