If you are travelling from city to city in Hokkaido, this 3-day pass is good to have. Maximise your travel during the validity of the pass. They have 5-day and 7-day passes too.

This is the first time I use JR Pass. It is convenient, saves a lot of hassle buying tickets. It works out to be cheaper than paying trip by trip if you are travelling between towns and cities in Hokkaidp
