Fantastic value, can take unlimited Shinkansen in the areas although most transport within the various cities is still own expense. Some JR lines indicated by Google AI as possible to use but in reality not covered.

Use this for Osaka and Shikoku. Easy to use and great savings achieved.

Manage to redeem my ticket at station despite name was not mentioned on redemption coupon. Was able to self redeem at ticket machine, but the steps were a little confusing since the machine primarily cater to the main Japan Rail Pass and not these less popular rail pass. But the value of these pass were fantastic

I love that I maximized my usage of this pass, especially riding the Hello Kitty Shinkansen and SeaPaseo ferry. 1. Check that your itinerary is covered by this pass. 2. The price can cover the pass costs. I benefit from double the costs using this pass. 3. Convenient to use!  4. I used this pass in Osaka, Okinawa, Ehime, and Hiroshima for 7 days.
