A very relaxing break

A good hotel/venue in nice location!

A bit of a disappointment for what we paid and for what looked like a special location in a beautiful building . Our room was just about as far away from reception and the hotel amenities as you could get. We were cleaned around and our table laid up for the next sitting before we had finished our breakfast . My husband was then hoovered around while he waited in reception. I know we’re old but we’re people and not invisible! We gave the feedback to the receptionist who was polite and apologised but didn’t seem very sincere . So it was “ ok” but it wouldn’t be our first choice if we go back to Letchworth .

The most peaceful break I've ever had. Staff were all a delight - super friendly, welcoming and helpful. Grounds are beautiful, surrounding greenery extremely calming and possibly the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in.

The room was spotless, bathroom also.A really comfortable bed, breakfast, amenities and the staff were faultless.

Best hotel ever

We had the worst stay here. A fight in the hotel, broken glass, our room lock was broken, the food was dreadful, breakfast was so bad. I have written to the hotel about this shocking experience and they are ignoring all emails, so i have now gone ahead with a negative review.

Good parking, clean, nice spacious room. Had a good sleep. Bathroom was clean with excellent shower pressure. Room amenities were fantastic. Used it for two nights when attending meeting. Really comfortable stay.

Nice clean room ( number 67 ) , very comfortable bed , lovely reception staff , lovely bar staff , excellent spicy pizza , will definitely stay again .

Clean tidy good staff and very good breakfast and bar there too.

The location is quiet with a traditional feel but modern fittings. The room was excellent - very well presented and all in excellent condition. Staff one check in and check out were helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking and food onsite is good.

Everything great, only wish was for instructions on how to use coffee pod machine in room.

Very limited food selection but otherwise brilliant place and terrific helpful staff

We had a very good comfortable stay. The staff were all excellent, helpful, curteous and chatty. The health club and swimming pool on site were a welcome addition.

The property is lovely with a traditional look but modern amenities. The room was huge with lovely furnishings and a good shower. Breakfast was good too with a buffet offering English and continental options.

A lot renovation to rooms being completed

Malcom the night Audit receptionist was excellent he moved me to a lovely room and fulfilled my request. If not i would have been very dissatisfied with the first room i was given. There are 3 things that must be placed in the room one is a fridge and the other is a toilet cleaning brush and a stand to put your suite case onto....other then this the breakfast was so delish and the staff in the restaurant did an excellent job. The refurbishment is looking really good.Nice bar in the evening & a good breakfast.Very pleased with the hotel & staff.
