Smelled like smoke

I loved it

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The building is older so not everything is most modern. The rooms and linens were clean. I stayed on 7th floor on the evens side of the hall that faces the highway. The traffic noise was a bit much for me. The room also had no coffee maker. Probably would not stay there again unless I stayed on the odd numbered side

It was ok

The entire property smelled of marijuana, open beer on the floor of the elevator, loiters outside. Didn’t have room as described, food left in fridge from previous tenant, staff tried to separate us instead of giving room we reserved. It was a horrible experience

Please take this property off your listings. It definitely puts a hit on your reputation Cleaning. This was terrible. It was horrible. I smell patio door would not even close. Beds were uncomfortable. Very un clean bad neighborhood.

Did not have a restaurant.

Shower head was horrible. There was hair on the bathroom ceiling from whom ever stayed previously from blowing drying their hair. The hotel building had a weed smell, my trash didn’t get changed while I was out from me doing w a two night stay

Dear Forrest Park Hotel by MDR Management, I am writing to express my deep disappointment with my recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations in several important areas. Upon arrival, we were immediately approached in the parking lot by a man asking for a condom, which was extremely unsettling. The following day, we witnessed what appeared to be prostitution taking place directly in front of the hotel. This made the environment feel unsafe and uncomfortable. The cleanliness of the room also left much to be desired. It was not as clean as expected, and when I attempted to request assistance from the cleaning staff, I was unable to communicate effectively as they only spoke Spanish. This made it difficult to point out specific needs or issues in the room. Additionally, the front desk was unattended at times, requiring us to wait until the staff returned. While the front desk staff were friendly when present, the lack of consistent availability was frustrating. Overall, I am very dissatisfied with my stay and would not recommend this hotel to others. I hope this feedback will be taken seriously to improve the experience for future guests. Sincerely, Shadonna

Manager and staff were rude.

Whole building smelled like 20 packs of Newports and air freshener. Key card for the door was really weird, you have to play around with it to get it to turn green so you can open the door. Room only had one washcloth so I had to go downstairs and ask for more. Some kind of stain was on the telephone cord, not sure what it was. Location was convenient for me and hotel was affordable otherwise. I’d stay here again if I had to.

Room was cozy, very friendly staff, loved that all rooms have a balcony was great for fresh air! Had no problems with people and everyone seemed friendly

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The room was dirty, and I woke up to a cockroach crawling on my arm. The pillow had yellow stains—I'm not sure from what, but thankfully I brought my own. The fridge didn’t work, and about half of the electrical outlets were non-functional. Very disappointing experience.

Needed a little staycation with my girlfriend and this hotel fit the bill for price and location. Convenient to good food. The hotel has been renovated. Still a couple items needing to be renewed like the patio doors, however, just having the patio was a huge plus.

So bad we didn't stay. We came back after dinner and packed and went to another hotel. Illicit activity happening on property. People hanging out on property and in the hotel and pool area. Room was in poor condition.

The location was excellent, easy access to museums, dining, and parks. The hotel is old like me and shows its age like me. The website didn't mention they had a pool but it exists. It did mention a Keurig in the room that didn't exist. The staff claimed a discount (that doesn't exist) at the breakfast restaurant (that is excellent).

Love my stay here and it was clean. The staff were nice and polite and provided me with all I needed. The only thing I would say that could be better is the wifi. It didn’t reach far to room 509. If you guys can remove the free breakfast since you guys don’t offer this would help with booking. Otherwise then that, everything was great. Thank you for your service.

Overall the hotel is ok. The room and linen were clean. The hotel is older and could use some updating. The room service was non existent. I called down for face towels (because there was only 1 in our bathroom) and I was told that I could come down to get some. The next day, I called down for a plastic spoon and was told "they didn't have any". I have never been told that from a hotel staff before, to come get the items that you need and that should have been in the room to begin with. There is no breakfast, not even fruit or breakfast bars. We will not stay here again.

Nice enough place with a good price. I would stay there again

The front desk staff was friendly checkin was quick. It was very clean all over. They have white linen and u could tell it was so fresh and very clean.
