Great stay on the way home from a family trip in France. Hotel is extremely convenient for Le Shuttle, has everything you need and leisure facilities

Our stay at the Holiday Inn in Calais was smooth, comfortable, and genuinely pleasant—but what really stood out was the dinner. We hadn’t planned on eating at the hotel, but we’re so glad we did. The meal was surprisingly delicious—thoughtfully prepared, flavorful, and far better than what you might expect from a hotel restaurant. Even more memorable than the food was the kindness of the staff. They were warm, attentive, and especially welcoming to our children, treating them with genuine care and friendliness that made the evening feel even more special. Our room was clean, quiet, and well-equipped, with a lovely view of the port and a bed that made for a great night’s sleep. The hotel’s location made it easy to explore Calais on foot, and we appreciated how relaxing everything felt after a day of travel. While it may not be a luxury destination, the Holiday Inn in Calais delivers exactly what a traveler needs—comfort, kindness, and a few unexpected delights. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great hotel less than 5 mins to the eurotunnel and super quiet. All staff extremely helpful bilingual and ok to bring your dog. 10/10

Considering its proximity to the channel tunnel it was really quiet. Nice bar, clean rooms, friendly staff and good food in the restaurant. Nothing fancy but good selection and plenty of choice, freshly prepared. I’ll stay again.

Perfect location for Le Shuttle, with ample on site parking. Excellent pool and facilities, and friendly efficient service in the convenient and good quality restaurant. Family room was large and well equipped but chilly (December) - perhaps some rooms/corridors need modernising to the standard of the very smart reception area etc. But would definitely recommend and stay again.

The hotel was easy to find and had plenty of disabled parking. The lady receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. We had booked an accessible room as my husband is disabled, but it really was not suitable. The bathroom/wetroom had a wide door but there was only one handrail in the room next to the toilet. There was nothing in the shower area so husband couldn't use it as he needs to hold on when showering. I would have mentioned this on checkout if the gentlemen had been approachable. He barely spoke to us and did not enquire if everything was ok or if we'd had a good stay, it was verging on rude. Overall its a lovely hotel and the food was very good, its just not really suitable for disabled people.

Lack of info on pet stays. Charged £30 per pet and requested to book additional room as only 1 dog per room, even if they are tiny dogs.

Reception and restaurant staff superb. Nice restaurant too, plenty to choose from. Room super clean and stylish and although we didn't need to use it, the addition of a UK socket was a nice touch. Secure parking. Got a great deal via Expedia. Will certainly use the hotel again. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for 3 nights. We were impressed by everything, from the friendly staff, to the food. Room was nice with a King bed. Great shower facilities. The size of the swimming pool was impressive m, as was the gym. Breakfast had a good choice but the hit good wasn’t that hot. Water in the room would have been a good touch. Would recommend staying here for the friendliest of the staff, closeness to the Euro tunnel, great food. We were impressed with this Holiday Inn and would definitely stay again. Well done everyone.

Ambience if Hotel was wonderful. Bar and restaurant on site. Outside garden views were beautiful. This hotel was close to Le Shuttle Terminal and to Citè Eroupe shopping centre. Hotel was ideally equipped for my mobility restricted mother.

Amazing hotel and perfectly suited for our needs. We had a dog and the grounds were huge! Especially loved the free roaming chickens! The shuttle was around the corner too. Very welcoming staff, would definitely stay again.

The lobby was pretty, that was pretty much the best part. Hotel hallways were dirty and mildewy, dinner was less than ideal for the price and from my room I could hear most everyone and the workers in the loading bay outside my window.
