The room was very clean and updated

Very clean and comfortable room. The front desk was friendly and quick at check in. I didn't use the breakfast which appeared to be adequate. Hot coffee was available before the 6am noted time which was much appreciated ! The location is very good, close to the highway but not noisy. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is there appears to be quite a few folks loitering outside. It is a busy location with restaurants, other hotels and it's very near Washington DC so appears it's part of the territory. The folks did not appear to be guests.

We checked in and were eating dinner when a bed bug crawled towards me on the bed. We left immediately. The front desk was very kind, but we are still fighting with hotels.com and the hotel for a refund

There was someone in one of the room that was making so much noise that we couldn’t sleep all night.

Front desk gentleman was incredibly helpful with food suggestions, courteous and knowledgeable.

Close by to stores etc Continental breakfast was less than expected. Two beds in the room, one of the mattresses needed to be replaced, very uncomfortable

Room had a mini frig and microwave! Ac was extremely loud and probably needed service. Ac temp didn't feel like the temperature I set it for.

I stayed at the Red Roof Inn this past weekend while in town for a wedding. I’ll admit, I was a little apprehensive at first—I wasn’t staying at one of the wedding’s designated resort hotels and was concerned about choosing what I assumed would be a “budget” option. But wow, was I pleasantly surprised. From the moment I stepped into the reception area, the hotel’s cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere were immediately apparent. A sign proudly displayed an award recognizing this Red Roof Inn as the Regional Inn of the Year, and the front desk staff was warm, professional, and efficient. Check-in was smooth and stress-free. The real surprise came when I walked into the room. This was not the Red Roof Inn of years past. The room felt modern, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed—complete with laminate wood floors, a brand-new air conditioning unit, a stylish and clean bathroom, and a coordinated décor that made it feel far more upscale. Honestly, I’d have guessed I was staying in a $250-a-night hotel. Location-wise, it’s ideal. Centrally located with easy access to shopping, dining, and entertainment. And compared to the adjacent Courtyard Inn, the Red Roof Inn exceeded expectations in every category. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area—whether you’re in town for an event or just passing through. This Red Roof Inn truly redefines what a budget-friendly hotel can be.

This property is old and not great for the price

There was black mold in the room. I had to switch rooms right away. This is so scary. I am not sure why this is even on Hotels.com.

Choices at breakfast could be improved; some food was unavailable.

The bed was comfortable and the room, though spartan, was also comfortable. Breakfast left a bit to be desired.

Very clean. The main issue was the bed. I was looking forward to peaceful night and it was a hard lumpy bed. To me, cleanliness and comfort is the most important aspect.

Bathroom small, shower gels worked poorly.

My daughter and I stay at this location on a regular basis. We have always been very happy with this location.
