We had the most amazing stay here! We had our family and every staff member made us feel so welcome and loved! Every single thing we needed the staff made sure we had it. The rooftop bar was amazing!!! We will definitely be back!

Very nice people. Helped us with locking safe and late check out but the Bed and sofa were at 2 different levels with stairs in the room. Had to go down to turn off the lights at night. AC is under repairs.

Everything about the hotel was clean and well maintained. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed with a good bathroom. The breakfast had a wide choice, was excellent and the staff worked extremely hard. Being just a short walk from the bus and tram station made it easy to get to from the airport, but then everywhere we wanted to visit was also an easy walk. Just a perfect location to visit Florence.

I was placed in a room directly across from major construction in 3+ rooms on the 3rd floor. Check-in is 2pm and construction went past 5pm. Neither Hotels.com nor the hotel mentioned the major construction. Not only the sounds (8am-5pm) but the smell of plaster and dust was harmful to my health. The front desk was somewhat rude when I asked for a new room. The hotel offered me a drink for having to change room. Disappointing

A delightful hotel with very helpful and friendly reception staff. Buffet breakfast was included in the tariff and was delicious. Large room, stylish, minimalist furnishing, a door opening to a small, high walled “smoker’s balcony”, sky view only. Bed was comfortable. Supplied with two baggage stands, a rare bonus, frig, a kettle, glasses but only cardboard cups for hot drinks. Supplies were not replenished without request. There is plenty of room to accommodate a small table and upright chairs which would have increased our comfort without spoiling the uncluttered ambience. There is a step up to the small bathroom which has a small walk-in shower without grab bar. There is no vanity bench space or storage, just a basin with a stool underneath that could hold a few toiletries. Liquid soap but no shampoo or conditioner provided. Wall mounted hair dryer not working but housekeeping obliged with a hand held one. The hotel is close to Santa Maria Novella and we found it easy to walk to the popular tourist sites. We enjoyed two excellent dinners at the very popular with Florentines and tourists, Osteria dei Centopoveri, entry on Via Porcellana one block away from the hotel

My 5 night stay at Croce Di Malta was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful, the public spaces were clean and inviting. I was fortunate to get a balcony room with a wonderful view and also spacious, well-kept with comfortable beds. The breakfast was great with multiple types of coffee and other drinks, and quality hot and cold food selections. I'd stay again if in Florence and recommend highly. It's also near the train station and lots of restaurants in short walking distance.

We loved our stay at Croce Di Malta, it was our second visit to the hotel, having stayed there 25 years ago and actually got engaged there on the balcony, so it will always have a special place in our hearts. Great city views from the rooftop. Buffet breakfast was delicious and the staff are super polite and helpful. Can't wait to stay there again.

Fantastic location, next to the train station and very close to the historic centre. Breakfast was good and service attentive. Coffee was better when prepared at the bar rather than the machine, of course. Some renovations and better insulation between the rooms would be helpful. A pleasant stay overall

Great place. The breakfast area is huge and nice buffet. The staff is very pleasant and the price is more affordable than other hotels in the area. Definitely a winner!!!

Very clean & comfortable. Easy to find. Was a short walk from everywhere i wanted to go & near Unita tram stop for airport. Breakfast was good. Kettle / safe / slippers in room. I felt safe as a solo female traveller. Reception staff were friendly & helpful. I arrived early & my room was ready & available. There is a fantastic view from the rooftop terrace. I would stay here again & recommend to others.

The location is great, more central in Florence, and the staff very friendly, but the condition of our room was less than desirable. The room, while big (2 floors), is dated. The staircase shakes a little bit and is slightly unnerving. We had constant issues with mosquitos (and we did not even open the window). We were constantly getting bit and must've killed a dozen or more mosquitos during our 2 night stay. You can even see on the walls were past guests have killed mosquitos (blood splatters). This made sleeping and getting a good nights rest nearly impossible. The bathroom, particularly the shower is terrible. And given where the showered head is positioned, water will get all over the floor. Unlike Asia which has a lot of wet bathrooms, which include a drain in the floor for water to drain, this hotel bathroom does not. So the water will just pool on the floor and you're either forced to just let the water sit there (which you can slip, or get wet feet while using the bathroom), or you have to dry the floor with your towel after every shower. We're not paying money to stay at a hotel to clean the bathroom floor for the hotel. I would not recommend anyone stay here (at least our room) but either 1) pay more money for a nicer hotel, or 2) stay in a more modern/updated hotel.

It was close to the city attractions , very convenient for rail station. Bathroom had a few problems , just old plumbing and fixtures . There was a knack to it. Staff were helpful with problems . I feel it was expensive for what was provided . No details about restaurant provided so we ate out every day . Could be made so much nicer as a 4 star hotel

Good place to stay in Venice. Staff was very helpful with our luggage and getting us a water taxi. A water taxi is an option as the hotel has access to the canal.

Beautiful rooftop deck and private balcony from our room

Our room was tiny had no real window to the outside, it was an enclosed space with a tiny opening in the ceiling. The bed was somewhat lumpy and tilted to the side. The only redeeming quality was the breakfast.
