The restaurant is NOT open for lunch and dinner like it says on the listing. It is only open for breakfast. The airport shuttle is not a real shuttle. 48 hours is needed to see if the driver they use is even available. The front desk told me to use uber when it is illegal in Costa Rica.

Staff was courteous. Room was clean. Breakfast was good. The walls were a bit thin, and I could hear people walking by loudly. Good, central location, friendly vibe.

Staff was extremely friendly. Very noisy area with the street car that passes nearby making it hard to sleep in. Breakfast buffet was great

No details were sent to me for a late check-in. The taxi from the airport called 3 times and no one answered. We had to knock on the door at the entrance to wake the reception person. Not a great start, but the hotel itself was charming.

The front desk clerk was abrasive, the room had no A/C, the beds were hard, no handicap accessibility, no parking, breakfast was good. The room was clean the shower was nice w/ hot water.

Good value, quieter than my last hotel in San Jose.

This hotel is in a centrally located area in San Jose with nice dining options nearby, shopping, museums, and theaters. Each room is unique and clean. The breakfast bar has nice fresh fruit, eggs, pinto, plantains, toast, creal, cheese, juice, coffee, and tea available. The staff is helpful and friendly.

It’s cozy

The property is very centrally located---just minutes to the National Museum of CR, restaurants, theaters, etc. Check-in was easy. Breakfast was good--they did not serve any meat at all but overall good.

Great building and common spaces and lovely breakfast. Good location. Staff friendly but not always around. Was a bit noisy.

Lovely property nested in San José, easy to get picked up from, close to the airport, great staff attention.

We stayed one night after we landed in San Jose. This is a traditional hotel, comfortable, central and with very friendly and helpful reception staff.

Be prepared to drive in circles to find the hotel. Once you do, it’s hard to find a safe place to park. The hotel recommends a place and it cost you 14$ to park. Breakfast was terrible. There was no food other than some watermelon. Coffee was scarce and you’re lucky if you get a cup. Oh watched the cooks sit there eating while the guests sat there with nothing.
