We were there in late March and found it to be a great location for just a couple of days before our cruise. It was already warming up during the day (and we like to sleep cold especially) so without air conditioning, we left the doors to the tiny “terrace” open and curtains closed. It helped by my parents in an other room didn’t feel much breeze and found the street noise difficult to sleep to. The people at the front desk for quite helpful with suggestions and even let us check in around 10am when we were fully prepared to just drop our bags with them while we waited and explored. It was nothing fancy, just the essentials, but the location was great, the beds were comfortable, clean, and polite staff.

An amazing location and a charming period hotel.

Beds were very comfortable, no storage space in bathroom for toothbrushes or hanging towels for the shower. Was a bit loud at night time with Underground noise. Location was perfect, walking distance to the beach, metro and restaurants.would recommend it, wouldnt do breakfast again as enough restaurants nearby that provide a good selection.

The only real advantage of this hotel is its location, which is excellent and close to everything. However, the rest of the experience was pretty underwhelming. The hotel itself is quite old, and it really shows—especially in the bathrooms. We were lucky to stay in one of the renovated rooms, but unfortunately, the bathroom hadn't been updated. It was outdated, didn’t have a fan, and wasn't cleaned properly. The towels were worn out, and to top it off, there wasn't even a box of tissues in the room. I had to ask three times before they finally gave me a handful of loose tissues—literally about 15, without any box. If you're only looking for a place to sleep and care mostly about the location, this might work. But don't expect comfort or good service.

That was a family vacation. Location is perfect, hotel stuff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is old but very cute.

Great location and friendly staff. We had a basic room and it was all we needed. It is located in Las Ramblas area so there is noise from the area like music and peiple enjoing themselves but never went to late into the night. Would definitely stay there again.

You can enjoy historical atmosphere of Barcelona in this hotel! The hotel staffs are so much kind! I recommend all tourist from other country.

Hotel sells with air condition. After nov air cond don't work and had to sleep with open windows and a pedestal fan. Paid in full.

the rooms too small with old furniture.. the hotel needs to be renovated ...

The hotel is in great location close to a few great attractions in Barcelona. The property entrance and lobby is nice, very old fashion. That’s the only two good things about this hotel. Rooms not the best, specially bathrooms. WiFi terrible, it doesn’t work any of our days there, we told reception and nothing happened. Breakfast expensive ($16€ each person) for what they offered AND we saw a few cockroaches inside the hotel.

Nice location and welcoming staff. Our room was clean but small. I couldn’t figure out how to work the shower.
