The suite itself. Description said ‘sleeps 4,’ I expected just 2 double beds. I thought suites on the name was a name. Amazing surprise .

We have stayed at this hotel several times because it is close to our daughter's law school. We stayed here this time for graduation. It was quite expensive. We could have stayed with other family at the Embassy Suites a few miles down the road for less money and better accommodations. This hotel is a bit desolate since it is in a deserted mall. If you have ever watched the movie Passengers, think of Jennifer Lawrence waking up and realizing there was only one other person on the massive ship with her in space. The location however is perfect. It is right across from a metro station and it has underground parking on site. The front desk validates each time you leave. There was only one person at the desk at a time the whole time we were there, so sometimes there was a wait. The rooms are pretty comfortable. Our biggest complaint is that the comforters are too hot even though they are lightweight because they have down feather inserts. There is only a sheet under them and no other blankets to use. We do not sleep well when we are hot. The shower needs an update, but at least there was hot water. The breakfast is good. They provide a hot breakfast and made to order omelets. Overall, it was a good stay.

The property has improved since the last time I was there earlier this year. They’re trying to improve the mall area that shares the space with the hotel. They seem to have curtailed some questionable behavior I’ve noted the last few visits.

This was a last second booking because we arrived to our original accommodations and were very unhappy. We took a chance on this and were very pleased. Everything was clean and comfortable and everyone was very friendly and helpful. This place saved our trip!

There were renovations going on that weren’t mentioned beforehand. Parking is $60 a day which is ridiculous

Worse shower and tub I’ve ever experienced. Broken mirror, broken shower faucet with peeling tub. Furniture was dated. No room service and hotel felt like it was closing and barely occupied even though across from a metro and walkable area. Made no sense. But area is safe.

Our family of five recently stayed at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Washington DC Chevy Chase Pavilion and had a great experience. The location was perfect for us—just outside the city, which meant lighter traffic, but still incredibly convenient thanks to the metro station located right in the basement of the hotel. It only took about 20 minutes to get into the heart of D.C., compared to the 45–50 minutes it would have taken by car. The room was spacious and comfortable for all of us, with two double beds, a pull-out sofa, a desk, and a kitchenette. It really helped make our stay feel a bit more like home. There were a few maintenance issues—the bar sink was loose and dripping, the tub spout wobbled, and the bathroom sink didn’t function properly—but they didn’t take away too much from the overall experience. The complimentary breakfast was a step above the usual continental options, and the nightly happy hour was a great touch—free cocktails for the adults and Shirley Temples for the kids from 5:30 to 7:30. The staff throughout our stay were exceptionally friendly and helpful, which made a big difference. We also enjoyed the indoor pool, hot tub, and even found a fun little arcade downstairs. Having a Cheesecake Factory in the connected mall was an added bonus (although tough on the wallet and the waistline!). All in all, a very family-friendly hotel in a super convenient location. We’d definitely stay again!

The breakfast was very poor. Overcooked rubbery eggs and burnt tiny sausages. Other Hilton’s have far superior quality food and variety. The service was excellent though and the omelettes were good.

My family of 4 stayed here. It was the perfect location to hop on the metro and head into DC. Breakfast was excellent each morning and we were also given coupons for happy hour! Others have mentioned the mall is closed, but we didn’t mind that. It made the hotel quiet. The Cheesecake Factory is still open and that was a great dining option. Definitely stay here!

A good Embassy Suites with a very good staff. But its connected with Maza Gallery Mall which is undergoing major renovations and things are a bit confusing as to parking, entrance from garage and a bit of a weird vibe looking out over balcony at a closed mall. I'd stay again, although more inclined if my business or interests were in upper NW part of DC than DuPont or Capitol Hill or even Georgetown.
