Great experience

Only problem was a room nearby with loud noise all night

When checking in, the front desk staff was nowhere to be seen, even ringing the bell didn’t work. Had to call the front desk from my phone to get their attention. As we walked in, we noticed a person, who was clearly not a guest of the hotel, trying to get in the hallways. Carpets are dirty and smelly. Would never stay here again.

There are a lot of homeless people around the hotel and they feel somewhat insecure and take away from the hotel's presentation

Quality Inn in Bellingham on Kellogg Rd. is by far the best choice in its price range among all the other hotels in the area and I have stayed in all of them over the last 10 years. It is clean, safe, comfortable and offers a nice complimentary breakfast. It has locked outer doors and a nice pool and hot tub. It's close to bus stops, shopping and restaurants. It is always my 1st choice. Its great for business or leisure, singles and family stays.

It was reasonable for the price

The staff are very nice and professional, and breakfast was simple, but included. The area itself has lots of dining options close by, and lots of parking. The hotel is a little dated, but for the price and a Quality Inn, a good choice overall.

It's a quiet place with friendly and helpful staff, close to a shopping plaza, and several dining options nearby.

There was no one at the front desk when we tried to check-in around 5 pm. I rang the bell and waited a few minutes. I eventually the called the hotel and stood there while the desk phone rang and rang. Finally someone came and said they'd call the desk person. He eventually came strolling in through the pool area with a friend and what looked like leftover food from meal in a to go container. He never said sorry or welcome. He was mostly silent as we checked in. Definitely a very rude check in.
