Good clean please, hotel changed names and lost reservation, took way too long to rebook

Clean room, looked like recently updated, staff were very friendly, a free breakfast is always welcomed

Breakfast was so so. Wife was having oatmeal and there wasn't any water,and no microwave to cook it.

Clean room and mall and easy to get to other locations

My Dad and I thought we would get a nicer hotel after being in the backcountry for 2 weeks. We clearly chose the WRONG hotel The wallpaper in our room and bathroom was peeling off due to moisture, the toilet whistled extremely loud for 5 minutes straight after each time being flushed, and the tub had black stuff growing in it. For the price we paid, we were expecting much much higher quality, we will not be using Comfort Suites again.

good location near downtown. Rather clean and tidy. Good breakfast.Good service. Lemon water and cookies available anytime. Tile grout needs updating in some places.

This property is in the only unsafe neighborhood in Bismarck, North Dakota. There are much better areas on the north side of town or downtown or really any other direction other than the south part of the city where this Fairfield is located. When we checked into the room, it smelled like mold and I don’t mean kind of smelled like it. It knocked you off your feet and so I went down to the front desk and they told me they did not have any other rooms with two queens and I told them there is no way we are staying here. I had booked through Expedia and Expedia contacted the hotel and wanted to make sure that we would not be charged if we checked out immediately and found another hotel. We were told that we could and now I’m seeing that they charged $520 on my account. Bismarck is a wonderful city and the other Fairfield on the north side is in a much better part of the city and I have no idea what the rooms are like, but I would think that would be a better choice. Anyway, there are plenty of hotels to choose from, and this would not be One of my first choices.

The ice machine was out of service. No hot breakfast as the fridge broke. This is the worst Marriott property I have ever stayed at. Very disappointing.

Hotel rooms are very run down. Plastic around the smoke detector on the ceiling in the room. Cracks and holes in the ceiling. Sink was clogged. Stains on the bedding.

I hate properties that require an incidental fee. Please show on motels listings as i will avoid then.

Convenient location.

Overall it was a very relaxing experience. Breakfast had variety from day to day and was good. Staff attentive. Pillows were on the too big size for my comfort. Toilet made a very loud squealing noise when flushing. Otherwise, great!

convenient location in south Bismarck.

Everything was great, except we needed to leave at 3 a.m., and the front door was locked. We called the number on the desk but no one answered. My husband had to manually unlock the door so we could leave. I thought that was strange.

The desk clerk , Chanel, was wonderful and very helpful and professional. She went out of her way to get a non- feather pillow for us. It went down from there. At 8:30 a.m. breakfast, staff were lackadaisical; there was no waffle mix.No oatmeal. A couple of bagels were there. One small helping of ice cold scrambled eggs (a food poisoning hazard) and one cold breakfast muffin were left. When asked by my husband asked for another sandwich , she microwaved 4 more , but the sausage and eggs were very cool to touch. Furthermore, when we took a shower we stood in water due to a slow drain. I looked up at the ceiling above the shower and there was a hole with radiating cracks. Moreover there was a line of black mold and water stains.

Woman who staffed front desk was so helpful and friendly, and literally worked all day, everyday we were there. She is fantastic at her job! The facility is old, and it’s a little bit of a “lipstick on a pig” situation. There’s some unpleasant smell throughout the whole building.
