Decent lodge with friendly staff.

Staff was very helpful with navigating the transport system in Banff

our pool was closed for maintenance. but it was a nice place to stay and good location.

We stayed 3 nights with two different reservations. We didn’t realize that the refrigerator wasn’t working, but my husband finally fixed it for the third day! The restaurant at the hotel was pricey but there were options nearby. The hotel was convenient, with bus service to town, the Gondola and other Banff attractions. We were given free bus passes. The walk to town was about 15 minutes. We had a nice stay in Banff!

The front desk manager was very helpful. The room was comfortable but the refrigerator and Lamp weren’t working so my husband figured out that the power cord was not working, he called the front desk and a new cord was delivered. The hotel provided free passes for the bus, so we could leave the car in underground parking. They also provided $15 a day food voucher for a number of restaurants.

The keg restaurant is a highlight. Very tasty food and great service. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Convenient location as well. Walk distance to most of the atttractions.

Great place

Everything was great. Room was a little warm since there is no air conditioning but otherwise excellent Elevator, parking and laundry area show wear and tear and need more cleaning attention

Receptionist was a little rude when asked questions that was slightly off his initial brief. Stayed to use Spa facilities and services, was unable to book a massage due to slots all booked up. Only availability was after I left. Using the restaurant for food, I was placed at the bar tucked behind a pillar where bar staff was slow at serving me due to her chatting with customers along the bar.

The room had no air conditioner, only a window fan pulling in outside air. This is far below an acceptable standard for the rate being charged. For a room priced at this level, proper climate control is a basic expectation, not an optional feature. The value simply does not justify the cost, and guests deserve better than this setup.

Very good overall

It was not a great experience. First floor smelled lot of chlorine. bathroom had proof of leak. Room amenities were pretty limited. Didn't expect these for the price we paid

Hotel appears tired in places with sparse in room amenities (pen & paper/in room information). Staff were excellent and were friendly & helpful. Overall a good experience but was slightly impacted by the adjoining restaurant (The Keg) due to limited dietary choices.

It’s fine, but keep your expectations measured. This property is succeeding because of its location, not because it’s truly worth the price. The staff are very friendly. There is a $15 credit for being an Expedia VIP, but the hotel couldn’t adequately explain how to use it until it was too late. The property in general could use some maintenance - I get the impression that they opt not to, because they’ll still sell out. The toilet barely flushes, the elevators feel rickety. There is no AC, but the windows open and they provide a fan. It was pleasant after we cooled the room down, but it was quite stuffy upon arrival. Overall it suited what we needed but certainly wasn’t a strong value.

The room was mediocre. We kept hitting our heads on the low ceiling . The bathroom didn’t have an exhaust . The room is not equipped with enough charging stations . The iron box is old. Granted people use it to hike but we were there in summer and the downtown is far and there is no free shuttle . The free bus is always late so we had to walk back and forth. There are better hotels closer to downtown and at a lower price . We never received the upgrade Expedia mentioned .
