Good value

Portable air conditioner in room, loud and noisy, shower curtain smelled really bad, out dated room. Curdled milk for breakfast. Won't be back

First room had a leaky ceiling that saturated the carpet in the vanity area of the room. Second room smelled like stale cigar smoke. Third room was a charm and very comfortable. Shower faucet was loose but functional. Nice breakfast…kudos to the cook and the staff for keeping the breakfast room clean!! First floor hallway also had an area of the hall carpet that was sopping wet.

One thing that caught my attention was that the breakfast situation is not optimzed. The information states that breakfast is served at 7:00 however while I was there, the staff where setting up the breakfast at 7:00… should have been ready at 6:45. Also the toaster is set before the bread selection in the lineup causing added traffic and the toaster could be upgraded to a cafeteria toaster to enable a greater volume (through put). We had a baseball team while we were there and the breakfast service was not taylored to support high volume of people

The staff were welcoming and helpful! Our room was amazing and my sister and two small nieces slept comfortably with no noise at all! Highly recommend!

My key cards wasn’t working after a day. I had to change them everyday. I had a room right in front of the 401, it was very noisy.

Staff are friendly. Overall, the hotel is in good condition though it could use some maintenance like a flaking bathroom ceiling. Bed and pillows were good, but should be updated. Good value for the money- easy access to the 401, and ample well lit parking.

No ac in any of the three rooms the staff attempted to place us in. Weird mouldy smell in all rooms, broken window glass in 2 of the 3 rooms we were offered. Very sketchy overall feel.

I did not have a great experience during my one night stay. I do want to mention the staff were very friendly, and the employee working that evening was doing her best to help everyone while managing the front desk alone. When I arrived, the room was warm so I turned on the A/C and left for dinner. When I returned, the room was 30°C. The front desk reset the breakers and offered a fan but the room only got hotter. I was traveling with my 9 month old baby and asked to switch rooms but was told they were fully booked. I then requested to check out and receive a full refund. As I packed with my baby being tired and very fussy they called back to say a new room was now available and a refund would not be issued as the new room was an upgrade. The second room was cooler but the toilet was dirty and had not been flushed. The TV also didn’t work. I returned to the front desk because I wanted to be sure the room had been cleaned since I have a baby. The staff assured me it had and told me to speak with the manager in the morning to explain my situation. In the morning the manager said they still could only offer a $40 discount and a complimentary future stay. Since I don’t wish to return after this experience, that solution wasn’t helpful. My baby didn’t get to sleep until 11:30 p.m and the inconvenience of switching rooms so late, along with concerns about the cleanliness of the second room made this a terrible experience. I don’t feel a $40 discount was adequate compensation.

We arrived at 8:30. We were tired and just wanted get our room and go to sleep. The front desk person was rude and very disrespectful. She was no help what so ever. We will not recommend this hotel to anyone and if asked will tell them to go anywhere else but there. Hotel was clean. Breakfast was so disappointing that we just left and went to Tim Hortons to eat breakfast. After lying $262 for one night stay it was no where near worth the money we were charged.
