Lovely hotel, and newly refurbished and renovated. And with reasonably priced parking, which was a life-saver for us. Would definitely recommend.

The refurbishment of the Met has been well done. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast however was not so good with limited buffet options and not obvious that you can order hot options. The coffee was terrible! The layout for parties is poor as we were met by a very large and moisybcrowd on Friday early evening coming out of the loft making it very difficult to cross the hotel lobby.

A gorgeous hotel and room in an excellent location. Breakfast had a good selection and the reception staff were fantastic.

Beautiful hotel, centrally located, parking onsite (cost £20 for 34 hours), clean rooms, helpful staff and a wonderful breakfast.

Very nice hotel overall but room maintenance for rooms should be considered. Broken latches, door locks didn’t work, carpet pulled up. Bed was firm with uncomfortable pillows. Absolutely adequate but slightly expensive for the reasons mentioned.

The English breakfast was freshly cooked and really enjoyable. There was plenty to choose from, including continental and classic English options, plus a few speciality dishes available for a small extra cost.

I loved my stay! The location is extremely convenient: central and 5 min walk from the train station. Staff was professional helpful and very friendly. Breakfast was excellent in variety and quality. And the room was beautiful clean and comfortable. What is there not to like!

Great location , easy parking and looks great inside after the renovation works.

My wife and I found this hotel very nice, being newly refurbished. Staff were all very friendly, we had evening meal and breakfast in the restaurant and enjoyed both very much, all in all a very pleasant stay, will definitely be returning.

The room was a good size and the bed was super comfy. The bathroom was also well appointed and the provisions of very tasty snacks for free was welcomed

Excellent hotel. There was a bag of crisps, a bag of peanuts, and a Cadbury chocolate bar waiting for me in my room - completely complementary. Nice touch!
