The only thing is if they would have coffee in the lobby. Thats the only downfall. There was coffee in the room but that was gone by the first day.

In the time I was here this is a working hotel in that showers start at 5 AM. You can hear plumbing and other guests so try to go to bed "early".

Great service, the cleanest rooms, the property is well maintained and quiet. Theres tons of parking, and i personally love the kitchen and the snack bar of goodies for sale. This is so nice for long stays especially if you're visiting loved one from the Navy Base. Its about 20 minutes from there. I will definitely be returning.

our room was missing several items ie chairs, silverware, soffre cups. The TV was not working but the next morning they told us how to fix.

Nice clean, laundry room with workout gym... nice kichenette area and desk with cabinets walk in closet. Clean room airy room.

Would be great if it had more amenities

Quiet and clean

Everything was great except Liz at reception. I drove 7 hours from out of state and i got to the hotel late and she chewed me out that i should have checked in earlier and said I'd have to pay for 2 night. Last thing i wanted to deal with at 230 am. I wanted to go to bed. Won't go there again.

Property is quiet, on the outskirts of commercial area. Quick drive to conveniences and restaurants. Staff is welcoming and pleasant.

It was secluded which if you have a rental car perfect Uber was harder to get

Loved staying at Sonesta Simply Suites! The staff was unbelievably kind and accommodating and the price was very affordable. It’s about 29 minutes away from RTC but well worth a bit of a longer drive than other places to save some money and stay somewhere nice. Definitely recommend staying here if you’re in Norfolk!

Remote location

I really liked this place . But the only complaint is they don’t do housekeeping every day. Other than that every was great
