I love this place, Room are clean and comfortable, close to everything safety to walk out and food it’s amazing!!

The property was going through a renovation so it wasn’t as clean as we expected, overall it was a good stay. Veracruz is such a beautiful state with much to offer

The Holiday Inn was so clean!! Our room was perfect for 2, we had a wonderfully comfortable bed. The air conditioning unit worked great, and the breakfast was awesome. The staff were so friendly!

Property is undergoing restoration; room was packed with furniture, way too small. Paint fumes. Should be done by now.

Very mediocre place that is obviously trying to renovate but the moldy smell meets salty hot ocean is not pleasant at all! The history of the hotel is beautiful with the original tile work and arched doors in the courtyards. Could rate the restaurant a 3 at best. Wilted lettuce and tomatoes on salad and presentation of food was non existent unless you are into brown guacamole. Impossible to sleep with smell in my room.I could taste the disinfectant they sprayed before we checked in. This will be my last choice in a hotel if I return to Veracruz especially at almost $200 USD a night.

The hotel was under renovation. We were placed between 2 rooms that were being worked on. It was very dusty and triggered our allergies. It was very hot outside so we came fo a nap during the day and due to noise we were not able to nap. Reception personnel were great but not the room experience. We left a day before due to weather and room situation.

Personnel from parking attendants to counter and custodial are extremely welcoming and nice.

Beautiful old building. Great location for touring the city. The staff was amazing!

Wonderful historical building. Beautiful courtyard! Short walk to historic town square and historic cathedral.Classic coffee shop cafe, reminded us of Spain.

Love staying here. The staff are wonderful and the place is beautiful. I will be coming back.

Old hotel, poor water pressure and barely warm water. Big spacious rooms but coffee maker and cheap coffee but no cream or sugar. Some staff more pleasant than others. Breakfast is decent but small. Missed the mark on towels. 1 bottle of water in room for 2 people...weird not typical HI stuff like that. Very central. Free parking.

The hotel is 400 years old and you should expect some situations. It is nice place for a overnight stay. The only complaint I have is the water pipes must be original because the water comes out rusty brown so make sure to have bottle water to brush teeth.

Hotel is lovely and very clean. We had the king room and had a lot of space. Breakfast is included and is very delicious. The waiters are so nice and all speak English. Getting a ride was easy. The front desk will all one for you. Highly recommend staying here. We visited June 2023
