We didn’t spend much time there as we were staying with family nearby after the birth of their first child. We found the staff friendly and helpful and the room was spacious and clean Room did need a revamp but was comfortable and we had a great nights sleep Bar area and restaurant area was lovely and staff helpful. Breakfast was great and lots of selection. I am gluten intolerant and there was lots of selection snd staff helpful with this as well Loved the children’s breakfast area and play area too and I know that my other grandson who stayed for a few nights after we left loved it as well Definitely stay there again

Check in straight forward lovely team. Thanks to Steph for advice. Breakfast good, swimming pool clean, rooms clean, would visit again, food in restaurant good.

The reception, bar, and restaurant were very welcoming. We had two dogs and they were very well treated with treat options and good outdoor garden facilities. The staff were excellent, very pleasant and professional - they really made this a special stay!

Great Wedfing Venue

The room needs painting there was hair in the shower and on the side by the sink. The bed was really hard and gave us hip ache the next morning. The extractor in the bathroom did not work so steamed up the whole room when having a shower. There were stains on the wall by the bed that looked like either a drink had been thrown up it or someone urinated on it we spoke to reception twice but nothing was done but they did offer a free coffee that we declined. The lift was out of order so had to lug our luggage up 2 flights of stairs.the breakfast was overcooked or had been under a heat lamp so not acceptable on all items other than beans. The staff were lovely and very apologetic but on this occasion the room let them down.

Great hotel nice staff

Lovely entrance area. All staff we spoke to were so friendly and helpful. Lovely touch with the kids packs and kids area in the restaurant which kept our 2 children entertained. They also enjoyed the pool area. A few more loungers or seats would have been nice. The free treat was a hit with the children. Dinner was good and a bonus that kids eat free. Breakfast was included which I didn’t think it was so that was a nice extra. Fantastic choice of hot and cold food. I was really impressed by the separate area for gluten free food. The room was very spacious but looked a bit tired and in need of a refresh. I complain though as the stay was very good value.

The hotel did their best with what they had having just completed a few large bookings the day before we arrived. IHG group do need to press on with updating the public spaces though.

Friendly staff, nice decor in public rooms. Our room was clean, bathroom recently refurbished but certain aspects like the door and decor let it down. We were B&B, breakfast was excellent. The hotel is excellently located to get the park and ride into town. .

Happy with stay and check in. Tv remote missing from room and replacement was poor quality with no battery cover. Apart from that happy.

Conveniently located hotel. Enjoyed using the pool. Hotel restaurant food was good for both breakfast and dinner. Staff welcoming and helpful. The car park was quite tight to park in, if on the end of the row as I was.

Lovely room. Staff all exceptional.

Holiday Inn facilities and staff are all very child friendly making it a great place to stay for families.
