Exciting stay, fire alarm went off at 8:30 pm and everyone had to stand around in the parking lot for an hour until the fire department gave the all clear. Somebody made toast in their room and set off the fire alarm. The room was large, nicely laid out and clean. The breakfast was not very good with limited options and amounts. There is no ice machine on the premises. Was told to use ice maker in refrigerator which didn't work.

The rooms are great! Very spacious and acceptably clean. If you need anything, have any questions about the area, enjoy a nice breakfast or a quiet evening swim... I recommend you stay and enjoy.

Wow. $5 to park. Why. The place has a massive parking lot and is the middle of an industrial park. On top of that the road is destroyed leading to the building. Potholes galore. $15 to check in early? At 1pm? At this point you should just lie to your guests and say the room isn’t ready. Ridiculous. Kitchen in room was disgusting. Wouldn’t touch any cutlery. Also a nice gross red smudge on the toilet seat. The breakfast is the only thing this place has going for it. Blown away this has a 9* rating on hotels.com.

When we got into our room we noticed the blankets seemed dirty and they immediately moved us to a clean room.

The suite was clean, well kept and comfortable. The pool looked clean and well kept. Breakfast was basic plus (scrambled eggs, ham and potatoes, a pancake maker, oatmeal, and breads. there was also apples and bananas which were somehow both over and under-ripe). MY ISSUE COMES WITH TAKING A SHOWER! AMAZING, HOT, GOOD WATER PRESSURE... AND IN THE MIDST OF IT A VERY LOUD ALARM GOES OFF. Leaves me jumping out of the shower soaking wet trying to figure out what's going on. A call to the front desk, and they let me know that it is a known issue. Steam sets off the smoke detectors -- and they're not going to do anything about this God-aweful noise that makes you jump out of the shower. They just told me to keep the door shut when I shower. The next day, take shower with the door shut. Get out, open the door to get dressed -- same thing with the God-aweful noise, even with the shower not running. I bet you enough people take 3 am showers to make the neighbors around them complain and the hotel will figure something out to fix this issue!

Although they are pet friendly, they up charged me $60 but did not tell me this when checking in, and it did say anywhere per fee applies

Room had plenty of room for our family, it was clean, bed were comfortable. Would stay here again.

very clean and well kept property

I was in a suite and the curtain was torn, and the room was unclean. When I pulled the curtain back. There were shoes sitting in the window seal when I requested the room to be clean. It was not clean. Also, the control to the TV did not work and when I requested someone to come fix it, the staff said there was no one to help me, but I could come down to get the batteries myself and I was too tired to do that.

Loved this place!

The staff was amazing! There was a smell of "dog" that was hard to shake. I asked for a non-animal room because I was told that the animal are given the lower floors, and I was given a 3rd floor room. The very next morning I passed a dog coming up the stairs as I went to breakfast. I am not a dog hater, but if I don't bring a dog with me, I don't want to smell everyone else's dog. So sorry for the complaint.

This place here in the mountains was an experience just being in West Virginia in the mountains. Boys enjoyed a swim. We experienced a deer sighting the night of check & it seemed aware of our presence. It stayed about 2 minutes before running away.

This hotel is set off by itself but very close to town. The staff was more than welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable and affordable. Free hot breakfast and a outside swimming pool. I would definitely come back again.

I was a little surprised that it was in such a secluded area. A little off the beaten path. Worked well for our travels for watching our grandson play in the West Virginia Senior All-Stars.

Nice friendly place, comfortable stay

Staff was so kind to my daughters as they had a late arrival after many flight delays and were exhausted. They kindly extended their checkout upon request as well as upgrading their room. I was so happy they took such good care of my girls!

this hotel is hidden away in a quiet spot off the highway. The room was very large and clean. Bed was comfy. I have no complaints.
