The only thing that was wrong was the coffee machine in the room. There were only 4 pods and two of them didn’t work. The staff, accommodation and amenities were on the ball. The location is also lovely right on the banks of the Tay.

Traditional style hotel with good food and friendly staff. The bedroom lacked storage - no drawers and one tiny wardrobe that had a poor hanging arrangement. No safe. Bedroom however was clean and the bed was comfortable. Beautiful setting and a nice walk into Dunkeld town and beyond.

Hotel was great. We have been here many times and is one of our favourite hotels. Staff, food and location of hotel are great.

Stayed here for 2 nights on the way up to the Isle of Harris for a week. Fantastic setting, right next to the river Tay, and our room, the Atholl Suite, was amazing. The staff were fantastic, all very friendly and helpful, but also very professional. From check in to the restaurant staff at breakfast and the lady who came to service the room - all brilliant. Management - if you read this, please make sure you give your staff a big collective pat on the back for the Jon they do - the staff are the heartbeat of a hotel. We will definitely stay here again in the future. Our only small niggle was the paint fumes in the room when we arrived as the decorators were painting the outside woodwork. That said, we opened the windows for a few hours and it cleared. Understandable I suppose, that they needed to make the most of some fine weather to get it done.

We had a junior suite overlooking the river which was nice enough, we thought the bathroom required an update. No towel heating rail, no underfloor heating so it was cold. Perhaps we were spoiled the year before as we stayed in The Hermitage suite which was superb, far preferred it however I expect more expensive. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and we enjoyed the swimming pool. The breakfast was excellent and the evening meal was good, however I think there could have been more choices in the main meals menu.

The staff were extremely friendly, accomodating and attentive. The room was clean and quiet to sleep in. The bed was comfortable. The nespresso coffee machine was a nice touch. The horizon shower was also good. The food in the restaurant was good and breakfast in the morning good. Really appreciated the gluten free station.

Spa was really good… quite busy but nice. Rooms clean and very comfortable. The lift wasn’t working which didn’t affect us but maybe others. Service at breakfast was excellent and Dot is an asset to the hotel with her welcome, information and personality…. A lovely stay in a beautiful setting. 😁

Lovely hotel and surroundings, would happily visit again, especially got breakfast. The only let down is the gym is accessed via the pool, and overlooks the poolside which made for a not so relaxing swim with all the late teens coming and going. I think they must let non hotel guests use it aswell which let it down because of how loud they were jumping in and out the pool.

Staff

Staff were lovely. Room nice but Fold down bed was awful. Evening meal in Restaurant is overpriced (£45 for a very small steak). Breakfast good although coffee machine not working and hot stuff not refilled before empty. Complimentary drink on arrival a lovely touch.

Reception , staff , were excellent, Room was spacious and outdoor walks very pleasant

Although hotel was already paid for when a card was handed over to reception another payment was taken for the room by reception staff! When checking out this was never mentioned and I only noticed due to being overdrawn on my bank account. When I informed the staff of this they stated they were sorry and a refund would take upto 5 working days. I informed then I wasn't happy and I have contacted the hotel twice in regards to this however they have never replied. Absolutely shocking customer service from the hotel and management and little to no correspondence from them at all afterwards.

Has everything you want or need. Excellent staff, services, food, spa. Cannot fault whatsoever. Cannot wait to return

Excellent staff from before check in and all through our stay, Gareth especially, the way he is always on the ball, if needs be the jacket comes off and he will serve behind the bar. All the staff blend together without a glitch. The same menu for three consecutive days was a big let down! The room and house keeping was perfect.

Nice atmosphere and good service.

From arrival to departure the staff were so friendly and helpful. Nothing too much. The rooms are lovely and the food fabulous. A truly wonderful vibe.

The staff were very friendly. It’s was also a relaxing venue. The views from the Hotel were beautiful. The town is lovely and only a short walk. The room was nice and the shower/bath was very good. The breakfasts were excellent. We ate in the hotel on one occasion and the meal was poor and seriously over priced.
