During my stay on 05/04, the power went out all night so I had to sleep in a room with no power, no way to charge my devices, no way to see where anything was at, and was not accommodated. I was told I had to wait until the next day and the person assisting me was not very helpful. Ruined my visit.

Power went out and has been off now for two hours.

The Chase is our favorite St Louis hotel.

It’s becoming dated. Broken windows and Staff at the bar seemed bothered that we were there. Listened to rowdy young men at early hours in the morning and then had the unfortunate circumstance of listening to them vomit and flush the toilet over and over. Not an enjoyable stay at all

Unfortunately I stayed at the Royal Sonesta for only one night -- and it was the night a tornado hit very close by (as in across the street). Given that there was a major weather emergency for St Louis to dig out of the Royal Sonesta was AMAZING. All of the restaurants were open and busy, the staff as 100% perfect, there was a huge prom going on in one of the function rooms, and my room was beautiful and quiet when I was ready to sleep. In more bad news I didn't get to swim or go to a movie (at the beautiful theater inside the hotel!). I did get to enjoy several local shopping spots (with and without power due to the storm) and Pharaohs Donuts nearby though so I can't really complain. Overall I would be back there tomorrow with my family if I could be.

Disappointing the pool was closed. I understand due to the Tornado 1st room noisy. 2nd one a suite didn’t even have china cups

Great hotel for visiting Washu

The Chase is always a magical place to stay. The staff is wonderful!

The property is beautiful & the hotel is elegant. The staff is also great. This was our 3rd stay there, but, again, we could not get an internet connection. The staff also tried, but, still no internet service on the laptop. Mobile phone access is no problem, it works great. There also needs to be more information handouts in the rooms; ex...food menus & phone #'s for the 3 restaurants. Also pool & gym info. Where is the gym ? Lastly, safety bars in the bathtub/shower.

This place is a gem. I love staying here, and never disappointed. It's clean. Everyone is friendly and accommodating.

Love the location, historic aspect, upscale style. Unfortunately didn't get a chance to dine in. I'm sure it would have been good!

What do I like about this property is everything

I like that everything i needed was on site didn't have to leave the the building. I didn't like the The hidden destination, parking fees

when the pool is open, top notch. Rooms are a little small, but overall one of my favorite hotels in stl

This hotel had a lot of activity during my stay. I did not feel comfortable in my surroundings. The concierge was not helpful at all.

Loved this historic hotel, with friendly staff, great restaurant and bar, gift shop and huge outdoor pool. The view from my room was amazing ! I luckily stayed on weekdays when there were a few conferences & it was quite quiet. Sleep very well!
