The property is a bit dated and the layout is peculiar, the decor is a bit odd and random (think tortoise statues, banksy art and then classic Greek tones). Our room, a suite, was okay but dated as well. The wind was intense overnight, which is fine, but the shutter wasn't tightly closing, so it made for a noisy night. We were a big group of 12 people,and there were only a handful of other guests but we had to follow up on requests, run up and down the stairs at the pool to get a menu and service. The music at the pool was way too loud and intense (high-energy club music) for the middle of the day, seeming an odd choice. They don't have a transfer option - this costs an additional EUR60 for up to 4 people, which seems excessive as a lot of the other hotels on the island provide this as a courtesy. Overall with the fees charged in mid-June, I think it is very overpriced for what is delivered.

The property is absolutely beautiful and felt like we stayed in an oasis! It is so romantic and definitely worth the stay. It is walking distance to Ornos beach. You take the stairs and go directly to the town instead of walking on the busy roads. I need to point out the breakfast which was absolutely delicious and what I looked forward to every morning. Make sure to order the orange juice, so GOOD. Only issue is going to Mykonos town, it’s expensive to take a taxi (35-55 Euros) but that is the price all over the island. Consider taking the bus from Ornos or renting an ATV!

This was our first time to Mykonos. The property at Kivotos is stunning. Having our own private beach was beyond exciting because all of the beaches charge $40.00 to have a chair and umbrella. The staff was so gracious and kind and bent over backwards to make our stay perfect. Also having a bidet in our room was wonderful as we quickly learned you don’t put toilet paper in the toilets in Greece. I will forever be a fan and recommend Kivotos to anyone wanting a luxury stay in Mykonos!!! Special thanks to Fatoula and Gregory for making our stay so special.

I was really disappointed with this hotel. It is supposed to be one of the best hotels in the area. The internet was really bad in our room. Also bad communication with staff. Breakfast is served at 8am. If you had to leave early on a trip there were no other options for breakfast. We asked for an iron. They would take the iron back. it was a nightmare to request 1 iron. I can't believe a hotel of this magnitude would not have multiple irons for the guest.

The best hotel in Mykonos. In oasis from the hustle and bustle of the island. Great place to relax during the day and only six minutes away from old town.

This property is absolutely as stunning in real-life as the pictures online, which is always my biggest concern when booking accommodations anywhere. From the moment we arrived, we were helped with our bags and pampered. The pool area is impeccably beautiful and cleaned every single day by hand and with the little underwater machine in the AM. The bedroom was very, very clean and well air-conditioned. They even had fresh flowers in our room which was a lovely touch. The hotel transport was seamless, and our driver was very helpful with our luggage and kind. The breakfast is so, so good, and the view from the breakfast spot is just breathtaking in the mornings. This spot also has its own private beach with daybeds, and it was absolutely lovely having that nice touch. It's not sandy, so don't expect that. But it's quiet and removed from all the hustle and bustle of the main, crowded beaches. An absolutely phenomenal stay!!

The signature suite was exactly as advertised. It was a wonderful stay in a great room.

We loved having a private pool and beach for our family. Sweet staff took great care of us and our kids.

The service of the stuff was excellent, all the rest was poor.

So beyond impressed and happy we found Kivotos. The hotel is beautifully designed with the most stunning views, and the staff is absolutely incredible. The most genuine and kind group of people that made our experience 1000x better and more comfortable. Also, the luxury pelican private drivers affiliated with the hotel were above and beyond. They made us feel safe, always responsive, and just the kindest people. We hope to be back again!

The hotel looks amazing, the staff is always really nice and nothing of my needs was any trouble for them. Breakfast really lovely with amazing views 😍 Pool really posh with very nice music. I really recommend to anybody how wanted a good nice hotel.

This property is beautiful / small boutique style which we love. It is situated close enough to the town but far enough away to feel exclusive. Loved this resort!

Nothing special. Wi-Fi was terrible snd didn’t work. Hotel needs renovating/updating. Peeling paint in the room, pool etc. The hotel gouged us on taxis. 80 Euro for a private transfer to the port when the private transfer that I arranged (A Mercedes) was 30. Shameful. “Private beach” was tiny. Luckily we could walk to Ornos beach.

Absolutely stunning property, but very expensive with not much included. The pool and beach area is gorgeous, but be prepared to listen to club music all day long

The staff just wanted for me to spend my money on the transport and also the breakfast was limited the service was forst to be nice i was not feeling comfortable in the hotel bad experience

Very beautiful hotel, but... The last good review was left in 2019. I assume it changed hands then. Now this is a review of this hotel under new management. 1. Extremely slow service. Waited for breakfast for 50 mins! No one seemed to care. Same goes when you come to the bar. Waiting is over 30 mins just for someone to notice you! 2. Poor room service. They had just one lady to clean the entire hotel and my room was cleaned only at 8 PM! 3. Incompetent and careless front desk customer service. I requested taxi a day before my departure. I emphasized several times when taxi should arrive. Next morning - no taxi. Front desk lady was talking to a new guest. She called the taxi that arrived late and I missed my ferry. Unacceptable! Otherwise perfect vacation was ruined by absolutely careless stuff. This is the worst experience in Greece in 2-week time that I traveled.

Staff needs some serious training, didn’t feel like a 5 star hotel service.
