My wife and I booked this property due to the photos it has on Expedia. Unfortunately when we arrived at the hotel there was no one that actually worked for the hotel at the front desk to check us in. The person who gave us our room key was a security guard who was given a list of who was coming in and the key. Upon going to our room it looked nothing like the photos in Expedia. The room felt musty and had old carpets that looked like they’ve been there since the hotel was built. My brothers room had roaches in it. Upon going to the security guard he stated he couldn’t do anything and we would have to wait till the next day when the employees come in. The next day we spoke to a female in the front desk who was able to get us into a different room which was much better but smaller than the room we originally booked. When asked if we could get a refund for the difference in price they said they couldn’t do anything about it. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Stay away. The pictures look good on here but it’s far from it.

It will be nice if the restaurant offers breakfast but they only open at 12 pm. Other than that it was a really nice stay.

This property was amazing. Friendly staff great location right between the beach and the city. Pool was super cute and clean and added little bonus the cute stand with sun care items and water. My view over the water was great. Everything about this property was absolutely perfect! Love love love this property!!

The service is terrible, the room looked like they only made the beds, no phone to call room services mind you room services only goes to the rooms that are empty, we found a ROACH IN THE BATHROOM and in the outside bathrooms as well! Parking is crazy far so they can accommodate the restaurant rather than

It was good , everything was clean but a bit old. The problem is I needed water, try to buy in the vending machines in my floor and the other side the hotel and lost my money because there were no water on either machine. Went to front desk and they did not do anything about it. Ice machine broken on the 5th floor. The front desk who took care of me on July 16th, was not interested in helping or doing anything, seems he was forced to work that night. Other than that, I would definitely stay there again

This property is far from all the amenities in South Beach, it’s a ran down motel, the room is small and stink. The thermostat was broke and it got muggy and things were fogging up when we turned the thermostat off. The bathroom is small and smelly. The shower is small and clogged up during showers, water got extremely hot and had to keep making adjustments. The floor was nasty. The house keeping did not do a regular clean and restock (3days) as they are supposed to, I had to call the office 2 times to get what was needed. Overall the place was nasty and germ filled. Also the pictures on the website did not match the pictures of the motel. I’m

The AC would not go down past 74 even though it was set to 68 as soon as we walked through the door, day 1. We never had hot water, luke warm at best. I went down for extra towels and was told they would come up to our room and never did. The next day I had to stop an employee with a cart to get some. There was something red spilt all in the fridge and I had to clean it out myself then decided just not to use it. The room looked clean upon arrive but after just a few hours our socks were all black. Would highly recommend wearing shoes in the room. The pool was full of bugs and we only used it 1/4 days.

Grounds are not neatly kept, from parking to elevator you are exposed to kitchen trash, the fact that there is on going construction next door doesn’t justify the upkeep. Perhaps the increase on waterfront land value might be the reason. Rooms are clean, but making upkeep. Simple hotel items like a tv guide, a coffee pot are not available.

I traveled to Miami for the TikTok Fragrance Lab and was really looking forward to staying near the water at Palm Tree Hotel. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Upon check-in, I was asked to write my credit card info on a sticky note, which felt extremely unsafe and unprofessional. I didn’t feel comfortable handing over sensitive information in that way. Additionally, I had booked my room two weeks in advance, only to be told my reservation had somehow been reassigned — and that I had to cancel it, which made no sense. The staff I interacted with, including security and a young woman at the desk, were not welcoming or helpful during a stressful moment. Thankfully, I ended up booking at the DoubleTree nearby (by the police station and 7-Eleven), and they gave me a much better experience. I wouldn't recommend Palm Tree Hotel based on my visit — especially if you're traveling for business or content creation. Your peace of mind matters.

Cool location- pool with water access. Palm Tree Club restaurant is a spot for Saturday afternoon events, but drinks are overpriced. During regular restaurant hours the food menu is also overpriced for what is offered. Stayed in Miami multiple times, various locations, still trying to figure this one out. The lobby is updated, looks and smells great, but the rooms don't match that aesthetic. Its an old hotel theyre trying to revamp, but still have a lot of work to do. Shower and sink drains were very slow to go down and bathroom had a mildew smell to it. No towel refresh- gave us 1 washcloth for 2 people and 3 nights. Had to ask daily for towels at the pool but they offered water and sunblock which was a nice touch. For a quick weekend trip, it served the purpose especially for the price but it would not be my first choice to stay again.

Parking on a Sunday was crazy! Also, the Palmetto Bugs got in the room and we left a day early. The solution that they offered was to fumigate the room.

I’ve stayed in numerous hotels across various cities, countries, and continents, and unfortunately, Palm Tree Club Miami ranks among the worst experiences I’ve had. The hotel lacks even the most basic amenities - there was no coffee maker, hot water kettle, or microwave in the room, nor were these available in any common area. I even visited the on-site restaurant hoping to warm up some food, only to find they didn’t have a microwave either. To make matters worse, the telephone in my room didn’t work throughout my entire stay. For a tourist without a local phone, this made ordering food or contacting the front desk nearly impossible. Adding to the inconvenience, most nearby restaurants close fairly early. The only redeeming feature of the hotel is the swimming pool, which was well-maintained and enjoyable. However, a key point of confusion: while the hotel is located beside the water, it does not have a private beach - something I mistakenly assumed based on the photos. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing hotel stays in my travel history. I hope this review helps others make a more informed decision.
